UPDATE…..5/28
Pastor Steve is doing ok. Sorry it’s been awhile since my last update. He is still in a coma. Since his recent hospital visit he battled another UTI (infection). About 2 weeks ago they did an ultrasound on his organs and found a small mass on his right kidney. Wednesday morning they did a CT scan on his abdomen for precaution, just to be sure. The results were good. He has been having some inconsistencies with his digestion……..since Thursday night he’s been on fluids. This morning (Friday) he was running fever and his white blood count was high, and he was very congested……so we took him to the hospital. His chest x-ray came back clear and they prescribed an antibiotic for the infection and are sending him back to the facility he resides at. Through it all we are still alive and standing. My prayer is that his digestion gets better, his congestion clears up and he is rid of infection, and no resistance or reaction to this new antibiotic. We thank God for his gift of each and every day with my dad and the lessons we are learning through this trial.
