Pray for Pastor Steve Cameron
Our dear Pastor Steve has suffered a heart attack. We ask that you post your prayers and comments here. We will try to update you on his condition as the family releases information. May our Lord be with Pastor Steve and his family at this time.
UPDATE…..5/28
Pastor Steve is doing ok. Sorry it’s been awhile since my last update. He is still in a coma. Since his recent hospital visit he battled another UTI (infection). About 2 weeks ago they did an ultrasound on his organs and found a small mass on his right kidney. Wednesday morning they did a CT scan on his abdomen for precaution, just to be sure. The results were good. He has been having some inconsistencies with his digestion……..since Thursday night he’s been on fluids. This morning (Friday) he was running fever and his white blood count was high, and he was very congested……so we took him to the hospital. His chest x-ray came back clear and they prescribed an antibiotic for the infection and are sending him back to the facility he resides at. Through it all we are still alive and standing. My prayer is that his digestion gets better, his congestion clears up and he is rid of infection, and no resistance or reaction to this new antibiotic. We thank God for his gift of each and every day with my dad and the lessons we are learning through this trial. Thanks, as always for your love, PRAYERS(we feel them) and support through this season in our lives. Love in Him………. Tiffany Cameron

Pastor Steve God’s not finished with you yet! You also have been my “Spiritual Dad” and I know the Lord is using even this to show us all so much! Joan, kids and family you are all in my prayers! Love you all so much. God Bless. Linda, Lauren, Breanna and Raymond.
Pastor Steve
Psalms 62: 5-8
My soul, wait in silence for God only, For my hope is from Him.
He only is my rock and my salvation, My stronghold, I shall not be shaken
On God my salvation and my glory rest: The rock of my strength, my refuge is in God.
Trust in Him at all times, O people: Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us
Mark 11:23-25
I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, `Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. 24) Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25) And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”
Lord I ask that you lay your hands upon Pastor Steve and Lord he is in your hands Lord. You know we Love Pastor Steve with all our hearts, and I am standing firm in your word from Mark 11:24. May you be his physician Lord. May you lay your hands on his entire family and give them the comfort they need, but Lord give them more of you Lord. Lord I want to pass this Prayer to Pastor Steve and his whole family
Our Father, Who art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name;
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed– always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. 2 Cor 4:8-10
The Lord has used you to touch countless lives and May He continue to do so.
You have Blessed me & my family in SO many ways… We are ETERNALLY thankful.

I don’t know if you remember us but we attended the marriage fellowship in West Covina and we met at your house in Hacienda Heights many years ago.My name is Tony Rocha my wife is Angie. We have since moved to Fort Worth Texas and I was shocked to hear about Steve through a friend of ours when he asked if I knew a Pastor from Covina. I had no idea it was Steve. Prayers will be lifted up to our Lord this evening on Steve’s behalf at our mid-week service. Texas is lifting him up to the Master healer, God Almighty Himself.
Your brother and sister in Christ

‘Now to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we are able to ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church, by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.’ Ephesians 3:20-21
From day one there was something about him, i thought to myself this pastor is mean. I began to realize that he was very observant of what God was showing him. I have been surrounded by CCC family for about 6 yrs now and every time i was ready to step down he was always there to pray and tell me to focus on who God is and not all the craziness i was putting out. His realness and loving, caring, kind heartedness is what draws us to him, being like Christ is what he has shown me. Never judging but praying and asking God to show us all what His will is for our lives, now we pray for God to continue Holding Him in his arms, comforting and taking care of His child as he does for us all each and everyday. You are more then a Pastor to me, you have become my earthly adopted father and i am so blessed to have you, your wife, your children, your grandson and son in-laws in my life.
I cry and i laugh because i know either way you are o.k PaPa Steve, I love you so much and want to tell you that myself when you open up your precious eyes.
Everytime we think of you, we will pray for God’s mercy and strength for the family.
WE love you Pastor Steve you are an important part to all of our families, hang in there God is a good God. He loves his children and will do nothing to harm them. Rejoice
Joy comes in the morning so rest.

Dear sister Joan,
We send our love and of course our prayers to you and your family. I pray for you especially at this time, for I know what it is to be a wife praying for her husband at his time of great need. I pray for your strength and your courage that can only come from our Abba daddy, and for your children to stand by you and lift your arms as they did Moses. Tony especially is so heartbroken for his friend, his mentor, his fellow christian, and his brother Pastor Steve. We will never stop praying for God’s will and God’s glory. Our love, our concern, our friendship, our fellowship, our commitment, and our prayers will be lifted to heaven.

Dear Pastor Steve And Joan,
l would like to take this time to offer our deepest empathy and condolenses to your family. When l heard what had happened to Pastor Steve l was completely shocked, my aunt Renee called me at home in kansas and left a message on my phone, she sounded very upset. my eyes filled with tears when i played the voicemail back. l hadnt seen anyone from church since l came back to Kansas earlier this year, lt had to have been about nine months or so. but when l went to church one weds evening when l was down for a visit just 3 weeks ago, Pastor Steve looked right at me and simply said “hello Heidi”. l was so surprised that he remembered me. l have always known to be such a sincere and kind person. One of my fondest and funniest memories of him was when l had seen him leaving a “Chipotle” take out place here in town, we said hello to one another, l looked at him, he looked at me, and he whispered “You never saw me”. l thought that was so funny and stated that his secret was safe with me. both Pastor Steve and his wife Joan have been so very kind and gracious to me. Joan is such a lovely lady and she helped me tremendously when my husband was in lraq this past year. l hope that all of our prayers are answered and that the Pastor makes a full and speedy recovery. They are such wonderful people. my heart and prayers go out to the family…May god bless you in this time of difficulty.
I hope this scripture helps….”The Lord Is Close To The Broken Hearted And Saves Those Whom Are Crushed ln Spirit” Psalm 34:18
Love Heidi….
This came as a total surprise to me as i was at the web site looking for something. Joan this message is for you. I will be praying for your family and for pastor steve. I cannot stop crying; i am so sad. My favorite scripture is Isaiah 48:10 Do not be afraid for i am you with you; do not be dismayed for i am your God. I will help you and I will strengthen you; i will uphold you with my righteous right hand. u cannot get any better than that promise from God. If u need anything, please give me a call (626) 622-2604. love charlene

A passage that I always look to in times of difficulty is Isaiah 41:10- Fear not for I AM with thee; Be not dismayed for I AM your GOD; surely I will stregthen thee; surely I will help thee; surely I will uphold thee wiht thy righteous right hand. May you be confident in the one who cares for you. ”I love you guys tremendously.”

Pastor Steve & Joan,
It was a shock to hear that Pastor Steve had a heart attack and is in serious condition. So many thoughts went through my mind. How is Joan doing, what about the children and grandson. Jesus is the anchor of our soul. We’re praying for all of you.

Going back in my mind many many years ago I still can hear the softly spoken words of encouragement and love coming from a man after God’s own heart, my brother Steve Cameron. A man dedicated to his wife and family and full of so much love for me and my wife Tiffany. Years have passed since I have seen my brother but I still have a special place in my heart for my brother Steve. God will be glorified and His name magnified as we will see the miracles of the Lord through your healing. My love to Joan, Little Steven (probably not so little anymore!), Tiffany and Sabrina, Be strong and see what the Lord will do!
Joan, Tiffany, Sibrina, and Steve.
I love you all.
Dearest brother Steve, sisters Joan, Tiffany, Sabrina, and Steven, our prayers continue for you all. We love you beyond measure, and pray that we will see you shining God’s glory very soon. Pastor Steve, I love you and miss your wonderful hugs. Joan, continue to be strong. God is doing and will do a wonderful work through you. Tiffany, Sabrina, and Steven, continue to be strong for your mom, your dad is proud of you guys. May the Lord continue to bless you through this ordeal.
Shocked could not describe our reaction to the news of Stevie’s heart attack. He is my cousin on my Cameron side and we have always called him “Stevie” so even if he is grown he is still our “Stevie”. He has always been such a sweet spirit. In Novemeber he came to USC University Hospital to pray over me before I went in for quadruple bypass surgery, first we talked and chuckled about our family and then he prayed for me, his prayer made me feel like I was wrapped in a cloak of God’s love and assurance that I would be fine, and I was! even more that anyone thought! Even me!! We pray cousin that God awakens you and brings you back to all who love you so that you can continue your gift of sharing God’s great love for all of us. We pray that he give Joanie, Sabrina, Tiffany and Steven strength. Please know that we are here for you, We love you!!! Cuz’n Francie, Auntie Aurora, Mike and cuz’n Michael
Our hearts were saddened and our eyes were filled with tears as this news came to us for you have always stregnthened us by your encouraging words and your loving hearts toward the many trials we have gone through..Now to see this going on is beyond what we can comprehend but we know we serve an awesome and mighty God who loves you and is holding you in the palm of His hand…We pray that you will continually draw your stregnth from the Lord and that your eyes will be stayed on Him during this time. For we know nothing comes to us without going through the Fathers hands first and He is able to do exceedingly above all that we ask or think. So we will continue to pray for a miracle that Pastor Steve will awaken and be back with his family soon. Know that you all are loved and covered in prayer by many.. We love you.
our dearest pastor steve : we love you very much and continue to pray for you..joan and children i pray that our lord god almighty give you all strength and may he sent his angels to guard your hearts and comfort you all in this time of need…dominic and i love you soooo much we miss pastor steve and all of you…we pray to see you soon…we both have received so much love from both pastor steve and joan trough these years i just pray that we continue to get that godly counsel that you both give openly…i pray to our father of love, comfort, miracles,of the universe and that nothing is impossible for him ..that he brings you back home..may he heal pastor steve’s heart, mind, body and eyes…..and joan may god hold you and give you love and comfort…..GOD BLESS YOU!!!!!AND HEAL YOU!!!
Dearest Joanie and Family:
How my heart goes out to you at this time! Indeed, we worship a faithful and loving God. He loves you so very much. My heart is greatly troubled by the news about Steve. Our church (Calvary Chapel Chino Hills) is in prayer for a physical healing. This fact – and so many events of 2008 – remind us all that we are here for just a vapor. I am grateful that your vapor has blessed my family and I greatly during our many shared years. We love you very much, and continue to pray for you.
Pastor Steve and Joan,
You have always been there to pray for us, now it is our turn to pray for you. We are keeping you in our prayers – constantly. You are both such a blessing to and so many.
all our love, Tiny and Bonnie Laguna

My family and I have been grieved about the news we received early Monday morning (12/29) after this terrible happening. I’ve been glued to every last update about your condition and am completely grieved along with all our brothers and sisters in Christ. I have tried a time or two to sit down and pen you some words, but just am at a loss of words because you Pastor Steve have been an awesome example of God’s promises through obedience. Please know that you have been in our prayers every waking moment begging God for a miracle.
As perfectly said in Greg Laurie’s devotional today, “It is not all that significant if you have held first place in a race for nine out of 10 laps. What matters is the 10th lap. Whoever crosses the finish line first is the winner. If we want to win in the race of life, then we need to learn to pace ourselves.”
Thank you Pastor Steve for being God’s perfect example of “Keeping the Pace.” We pray that it will be God’s Will that you return to us to continue God’s work.
We love you and Joan, the girls and Steven and continue to be on our knees for your beautiful family.

I vow to fervently pray for Steve and the Cameron family. I pray for a peace that surpases all understanding.

Our prayers are with your whole family in this very difficult time. There are so many things that happen in this life that we just don’t understand. It is a wonderful comfort to know that God knows all things. He knows the beginning the end and all the in between. He is ever so close right now with His precious son, Steve. Querido Pastor Steve y Joan:
En su amor;
Jim, Gladys, Ivan, Michael and Zacarias.
Dear Pastor Steve, Joan and Family.
We are grieving with you since we knew this news about Pastor Steve, Wednesday evening. Since then, we are praying for you. We want to encourage with the Psalm 91:1-2 “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
Also Isaiah 41:9-10 says:
“I took you from the ends of the earth,
from its farthest corners I called you.
I said, ‘You are my servant’;
I have chosen you and have not rejected you.
So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Finally, Jeremiah 29:11-12 says:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
In His love,
Jim, Gladys,Ivan, Michael and Zacarias

There is such an outpouring of prayer & love from our brethren. We are all storming the gates, fervently praying and pleading for your healing and restoration. I have been blessed by our conversations, your guidance and prayers have brought me much comfort and you have assisted me in drawing closer to our heavenly father. I am forever grateful for your service to our King and the difference you make.
Dearest Joan, My heart goes out to you and your children, I’ve been praying for you and asking God to meet every need. As you have reminded me, draw close to Him and you will find refuge in His everlasting arms. God is with you always. God bless your family & strengthen you.

good morning
Joan wanted to let u know that I am constantly in prayer for you, your family, and pastor steve. could u tell pastor steve that I am praying for him. Joan I have been in your place; i did not know Christ at the time, and I worried and worried and worried. worrying did not help. So I say this to you and your family cast all your anxities to God cause he loves you. when u catch yourself starting to worry just a little bit, remember Phillipians 4:6 but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving present your requests to God, and the peace of God will guard your hearts. Just be still and be quiet and wait on the Lord and peace will just infuse your body, and all worries will disappear. Joan I am living proof of what I just wrote to you. love charlene

WE LOVE YOU!!!!!
Dear Lord,
I can’t help but think you are speaking to your church through all of this. That you want us all to WAKE UP, including myself. There are so many times that as a Christian I pray for my unsaved family or friends and think they have to hit rock bottom, before they repent and turn to you my Lord. Is this our church’s rock bottom? I pray not. I pray that we would all realize that it’s about You Lord! Not who is doing or not doing something we think they should or shouldn’t be doing. Or knowing that someone is in need or down and just turning the other way, and going about our business with our cliques. No as Pastor Joe stated on New Year’s Eve, we should all be grieved when any of the brethren is hurting, and rejoice when they are blessed. Our circle of Love should have no beginning or end Lord, just as your love for us all has no end. Pastor Steve loves us all so much! He has that true AGAPE LOVE, that so many of us have experienced. Lord, we hear you, please bring our beloved Pastor back to his beloved wife Joan, children, family and us all if it be Your will. I know Your will is not always an easy thing to accept, but none the less may it be….Amen.
I can’t say enough about how much i love you guys. I pray i don’t know how many times a day, see what you bring to my life, more need for God in it, more need for prayer in it, Joan i think we were listening to a song that talked about how storms, trails bring on the need for prayer and with prayer we are just communing with our Father for our brother, for your family, for us all to grasp hold to that faith we talk about having and i say thank you God for showing us You, for showing us Your power.
I love you Cameron family.
To my GREAT GOD AND SAVIOR:
I pray that the Cameron family worud hear a special word that would put them in that special place. A place where your peace is the touch they feel. That your presence would be the sustaining strength to their bodies. A place where their faith, love and devotion is renewed. A place where hope is real and the affection of the saints is deep. A place simply known as “Arms of Love”.
Pastor Steve,
We will be praying for you and the family. We both, Roger and I, love you so much and look forward to seeing you again on your feet full of strength and health. We will also pray for Joanie and the family, who are at your side and in prayer to our Lord on your behalf. Phil.4:6-7.
Roger and Elaine Wheelock
I’m here if you need me.
Pam

We treasure the words of Wisdom you shared with us and will always thank God for you, as you were there for us. And the time that I (George) had those personal talks with you at the theatre, in your office, when I was there helping move things around. ….. Cameron family, you are all in our prayers. We love you and trust & know that God is with you in this time of need. “He is our refuge and strength in times of trouble”. Psalm 46:1. We pray for God’s strength for you, know that Pastor Steve is in God’s hands. We are here if you need us. Take care and God bless you, George & Mary Lou

I’ll always remember the conversations we’ve had over the phone…..you’ve helped me through some very difficult times when I was in darkness. Thank You so much. I can’t express how grateful I am for the Monday night Bible Studies. I’ve learned so much and come along ways because of the bible studies. Thank You for your guidance in sending me to House Of Luke Ministries….which I’ve completed and now became an usher here at Calvary Chapel.

Pastor Steve,
I don’t really know you very well….but from what I do know….Your a special person to many people. I don’t attend church like I should so I must pray and let God know that your work here on earth is not finished…..many of “us” still need people like you! As selfish as it sounds…..I want to know Christ and from what I hear…”Your The Man” to speak to. So I pray……Dear Lord…You are a merciful Lord and an understanding one at that…so please, if it be your will …. leave this special man who has taught so many how to serve you and love you, …. to teach and guide the blind and lost. I ask this prayer in Jesus precious name…Amen ~
Steve,
We love you and your family. Please know that you’re a very special person in my personal spiritual grow. When I heard of this news, my heart sank. I know that the Lord has used you for His glory and have touched the lives of many at Golden Springs and at Cornerstone. I wll continue to pray for your recovery and strength for Joan, Sabrina, Tiffany and Steven. We love you Steve, keeping fighting the good fight!
Exodus 23:25 – “So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.”
Psalm 30:2 – “O LORD my God, I cried out to You, And You healed me.”
Psalm 34:19 – “Many [are] the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all.”
Psalm 103:2-5 – “Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good [things], [So that] your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
Matthew 8:2-3 – And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Then Jesus put out [His] hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
James 5:13-16 – Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess [your] trespasses [fn] to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

I have no idea where to begin, Joan, sabrina, tiff, and steven we love u guys and are praying for u constantly – may the God of all comfort be your source of rest and peace.
Pastor Steve no message written or spoken can express how much u have meant to me and my family. As a single man u unknowingly discipled me and taught me how to serve our Lord. You were there for me on one of my lowest days coming over to my house to pray and weep with me. I cannot tell u how much that meant to me…
I remember always being able to come into your office and talk about any and everything – I miss those times. I remember those greetings of “EG” everytime I walked in.
Your heart of service and giving has always blessed me but especially in these last few years to see the heart of Jesus pour out from u has marked my life – I love u my brother, my friend, and my pastor – I miss u and even now as I write this I can’t help but cry – and yet not as one who has no hope. In your words I know I will see you again, “here, there, or in the air”.
Our heart cries out to God in hope of a fast recovery. I know He is in control of all things. He is our God of impossibilities. Joan, and family may God continue to give strength as you endure this trial. We continue to pray and wait on the Lord. We love you, Alfredo, Griselda, Nicole and Alfredo.
Hi again Cameron family!!……..Okay The Celiz’s are becoming BLOG HOG’S!!!!!! We just read Sabrina’s update and we both Thank You, Thank You!! And yes your Dad and Mom have touched many lifes in many ways. We will continue to PRAY for Dad and all the Cameron family. SEE YOU HERE THERE OR IN THE AIR!! Lots of LOVE in the LORD!
We are continuing to pray for Steve, Joanie, and the rest of the family. The Lord has even awakened us during the night to offer up prayers. This morning, in the yearly NKJV Bible, the Psalm reading was verses 1-4. I read on til Jan 5th to read the entire Psalm. Verse 5 jumped out to me. “I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the Lord sustained me.” When I read that someone else had posted the same verse, I wanted you to know that as I read the verses (3-5), I too thought of Steve. God is awesome.
I also read about Noah…..”Then God remembered Noah, and every living thing…..” Just as He remembered Noah….He shall remember Steve and all that he is going through.
May the Lord bless you all and sustain you with His strength, love, and peace during this time.
In Him……
Steve,Joan,Sabrina, Tiff and Steven, we were so saddened to hear of Steve’s heartattack. We have so many memories of our times together at Golden Springs. We want you to know that we are praying for you.Hear my prayer,O Lord,And let my cry come to You.Do not hide Your face from me in the day of my trouble;Incline Your ear to me;In the day that I call, answer me speedily Psalms 102:1,2. In Him Tony and Dora
I too believe the Lord is using this to wake us all up as a church. So we may love one another, as you Pastor Steve have showed us so much love. That we would reach out to those in need, and take the time to listen, really listen to others, just as you do when anybody comes to talk to you. You never turn anyone away. And I pray that just as you are having fellowship with our Lord during this time Pastor Steve, that we the church will also be seeking Him and in fellowship with our Lord. You have taught us so much, and I know you are not finished with us either. I want you to know that we love you, and can’t wait to see you again.
Joan and kids, please know that you are so loved. We are all praying for you, and are here for anything you need. And remember…Phil 4:13 “ALL THINGS are possible, through Christ who strengthens us.”
Joan and Family I am praying for all of you and Pastor Steve I miss you and your kind friendly face. Be still and know that He is God. I am praying for your miracle! father God hear our prayer for Pastor Steve , heal him and bring him back to us.

God didn’t promise days without pain,
laughter without sorrow,
or sun without rain.
But God did promise strength for the day,
comfort for the tears
and a light for the way.
And for all who believe in His kingdom above,
he answers their faith with everlasting love

Hi Pastor Steve,
We know that these love notes are being read to you each day and we wanted you to know that we love you very much. You and Joan are such an inspiration to us and are more like family than friends.
From the moment that we heard that you where sick, after many tears, we began to pray, and continue to pray many times a day, for your recovery. We know that God will perform a miracle in your recovery. God has a reason for this tragedy and as you have taught us, so much good can come from tragedies such as these. It is meant for good, we just can’t see it yet.
As I was browsing the comments left by so many, I was impressed by the number of people whom you have touched, as you two have touched us with your love and laughter and friendship.
We just wanted you to know that we are continually praying for God’s miracle to come to you and your family’s life, that we might give Him the Glory.
Love Suzy and Larry
Be of good courage, and HE shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord
(Matt 4:23) Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
Our prayer for you is that our Heavenly Father with his healing power who has the desire to heal His people come to you now and heal you of your heart attack at this very moment and restore your body to complete health. Praise the Lord for He is the Great Physician who knows exactly what we need in order to be well! Lord Jesus, You commanded Your disciples to heal the sick and You healed all who were brought to You, so we come to You now with our prayers to heal Pastor Steve. Your Word says that with Your stripes we are healed (Isa 53:5) and You are the Lord who heals us. (Exo 15:26)
Dear Lord Jesus, We now pray for one another that we may be healed (James 5:16) By faith in You as we bring Pastor Steve to You now and ask with great mercy and love to heal him as You have healed so many with Your healing power and ask that You do not permit this affliction to remain with him any longer. Praise You Father God and let us give thanks for Your healing of our Pastor Steve now and forever. Amen

Pastor Steve, dear friend and brother,
Ps 27:1-14 – The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell. Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident. One thing I have desired of the LORD, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, And to inquire in His temple. For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock. And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD. Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice! Have mercy also upon me, and answer me. Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice! Have mercy also upon me, and answer me. When You said, “Seek My face,” My heart said to You, “Your face, LORD, I will seek.” Do not hide Your face from me; Do not turn Your servant away in anger; You have been my help; Do not leave me nor forsake me, O God of my salvation. When my father and my mother forsake me, Then the LORD will take care of me. Teach me Your way, O LORD, And lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies. Do not deliver me to the will of my adversaries; For false witnesses have risen against me, And such as breathe out violence. I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living. Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!
I would have lost heart, unless I had believed…And so we wait on the LORD!!!
Joan, dear friend and sister,
Phil 4:8-9 – Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy — meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.
We love you both; and so we wait for “HIS” miracle!!!
To God be the Glory,
Bill, Kathryn, Alexa, Priscilla and Gabriel Gonzales
Steve
I say ” I love you,” and know what the come back would be: ” I love you more.” Thanks my dear friend.
Amen
IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH, RISE UP…
I’LL SEE YOU SOON
Father in heaven i do lift up the Cameron family to you this afternoon as you have reminded me once again. Lord Jesus thank you for not leaving us without help when you ascended up to heaven to sit in your rightfull place. As you promised Jesus, you sent the Holy Spirit to comfort, lead, help, and empower us to walk this life of faith and to endure all things! Lord i ask You at this time to lead my sister Joan down this path of the unknown as the battle of science and faith rage on in her mind. Father, give her the faith of Abraham who did not waver and was fully convinced that what YOU promised, YOU are able to perform.(Rom.4:20,21) Lord, i also lift up the entire extended family of Pastor Steve and Joan to You, that You Lord, would strengthen and deepen their relationship with You as they wait for “the fulness of Your time.” Oh Lord, You taught us how to pray; to always pray for YOUR will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. Father, we don’t know what Your will is for Pastor Steve, but because we love him and his family Lord we ask that You heal him completely from head to toe and every part of his body in between. Lord strike C.C. Cornerstone with awe as You would let Pastor Steve enter the sanctuary at 173 W. Center Street, on your appointed day and we will shout songs of praise to Your Glory and Your Honor, in the matchless Name above all Names; JESUS, i pray, amen. Joan, Carmel and i constantly pray for all of you, and as we recall our own experience with Lil Larry, we are so sure without a shadow of doubt that God is in control of Pastor Steve as he lays comatose. I cannot lie to you sis, and say that my faith never wavered for in fact it did many times over the 3 months that Lil Larry layed there in his coma but it was Carmel who had the faith of Abraham and in the end i learned what i thought i already knew: “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”- “However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting” (Mt.17:20,21) I don’t know if you’ve ever seen a real mustard seed but a sister-in Christ gave one to Carmel and it is tiny, so that’s all it takes, we don’t have to be super giants of faith to receive a miracle from The King of Kings. God Bless you during this time and know that many are constantly devoting themselves to prayer for Pastor Steve.
Pastor Steve and family,
God is able even when man is not!
II Samuel 22:33f: “God is my strength and shield and He maketh my way perfect.”
I continue to hold all of you before His throne of grace.
Helena
Hermano,
You’re heavy on my heart right now……. Like you’ve always told me. “But GOD”
Padre Santo queremos un milgro celestial. En Tu Nombre horamos. Amen.
And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up.
Dear Pastor Steve and Family
Like all the other’s have said, our heart is feeling so sad right now. This last Sunday I felt a heaviness at church, a sadness. An integral part of our body was missing, you! One of the first people we see is you in the parking lot or walking from one place to another, giving someone a hug on the way. Never too busy to say hi! I only recently had the blessing of talking with you at length, on the phone for some advice and prayer for a trial we were going through. You were a true blessing to speak with. You were so gentle and encouraging. I left our conversation feeling positive and uplifted and commented to my husband what a blessing you were!
No one knows what will happen, but we all know that God has a plan and a purpose for all of this. Thank you for being obedient to the Lord and serving Him with your whole heart. You are loved, appreciated, and you and your family are constantly being lifted up in prayer throughout the day!
Steve, Joan and family I know that God is holding you and surrounding you with His presence; before, behind, and beside you through this trial. No matter what happens, He will take you through and will never leave you or forsake you!
Love in Christ Jesus

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you: and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you. Hello to Joannie and Steve and the kids. Just wanted you to know that KC and me are praying for you always. I want to share a scripture I got from the Lord the night my car was recked in front of your house. Isaiah 41:10 Fear you not:for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God: I will strengthen you, yes I will help you yea, I willuphold you with the righthand of My righteousness. We have shared some wonderful memories. The song that reminds of Steve is I saw the Lord sitting on the throne exalted. One night on a Sunday he share that he had closed his eyes during worship and saw the Lord. I even remember the night him and Ron chose me to teach the 6th graders. We love you guys and know that God is in your mist enjoy His presence. God be with you. Love KC and pat
Hold on now, I gotta take a deep breath
I don’t know what to say when I look in your eyes
You made the world before I was born
Here I am holding You in my arms tonight
Noel, Noel, Jesus our Emmanuel
You’re here, I’m holding You so near
I’m staring into the face of my Savior, King and Creator
You could’ve left us on our own, but You’re here
Don’t know how long I’m gonna have You for
But I’ll be watching when You change the world
Look at Your hands, they’re still so small
Someday You’re gonna stretch them out and save us all
Noel, Noel, God with us Emmanuel
You’re here, I’m holding You so near
I’m staring into the face of my Savior, King and Creator
You could’ve left us on our own, but you’re here… you’re here
Someday I’m gonna look back on this
The night that God became a baby boy
Someday You’re gonna go home again,
But You leave your spirit and flood the world with joy
You’ll be here, I’m holding You so near
I’m staring into the face of my Savior, King and Creator
You could’ve left me on my own, but you’re here… You’re here
Hallelujah… You’re here… Hallelujah… You’re here
Nino,
please just open your eyes… I am asking God to give you back to us…. I want only HIS will but we need you here right now !!! We are not leaving that hospital without you.. none of us… I love you so much.. by the way, ” YOU KNOW!”
Pastor Steve, my brother,
You have always been a true friend, a brother, and an inspiration to me. I miss our lunch meetings together, next time we go it’s your turn to pay. In the mean time I’m praying for your speedy recovery.
Remember, we worship the God of miracles. “How Great Is Our God”.
Love you.
“And He said, “Where have you laid him?” They said to Him, “Lord, come and see.” Jesus wept. Then the Jews said, “See how He loved him!” John 11:34-36
“Jesus wept.” It’s the shortest verse in the Bible – just two words. But these two words reveal the character of Jesus Christ in a tremendous way.
Many believe that Jesus wept because Lazarus had died. Others believe that He wept because He saw the immense grief and sorrow that Mary, Martha, and others were suffering due to Lazarus’ death. Yet others believe that Jesus wept because of the lack of faith He saw among some of His closest friends. However, the tears that Jesus wept came from an even deeper compassion than the beliefs listed above. Jesus wept because He had to bring Lazarus back from paradise.
Thought for the Day:
God desires that we be with Him in paradise.
I am praying for you guys and my heart is heavy for the whole family… I love you all and I will continue to pray for a miracle and that the Lord will continue to comfort you guys….
“In the multitude of my
anxieties within me,
Your comforts delight my soul.”
Psalm 94:19
Dear, Cameron’s I have not stopped praying for steve, steve is my blood and brother in Christ the Lord he has became such a wonder man and an icon in my family and I’m asking the Lord to pardon steve and let him wake up and send him home to his wife and kids, that’s were pastor steve belongs right now.
We are continuing to remember and pray for you Steve. Psalm 61 Hear my cry, O God; Attend to my prayer. From the end of the earth I will cry to You, When my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For You have been a shelter for me, A strong tower from the enemy. I will abide in Your tabernacle forever; I will trust in the shelter of Your wings. For You, O God, have heard my vows; You have given me the heritage of those who fear Your name. You will prolong the king’s life, His years as many generations. He shall abide before God forever. Oh, prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him! So I will sing praise to Your name forever, That I may daily perform my vows. Love, Ernest and Gloria
Dear Cameron Family,
We just want to let you know that we are praying for that miracle and that God will give you His peace that passes all understanding and be your strength in this time and remember He is our refuge in the very time of trouble and when we are weak He is strong. He is our strong tower.
In our prayer tonight for Joan and the kids this verse came to our hearts…Isaiah 40:29-31..He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fail; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.
We love you guys and do not cease to pray for you. Love Alex and Marci Fajardo

AMEN! Mark 11:22- 26, Romans 8:26-28. Praise God in all things for He is good all the time and His mercy endureth forever.
Why, O Lord, does it always seem
That we often get no reply?
When we are so very desperate
For all the answers why
When we need a special touch
To heal all of our sickness
A miracle that only you can do
Restoring strength to our weakness
We do not know the reasons why
You don’t answer right away
We only need to have faith in you
And be persistent when we pray
You may choose to heal much more
Than our needs of the physical
So much more is the spirit inside
That may be in need of a miracle
For you care so much for us
And want to see us healed
Not only in this body of ours
But in our souls as well
For healing is for every part
Our body, spirit and soul
And God just wants to touch each part
And make us truly whole
We needn’t feel so downcast
As we wait upon the Lord
For the answer will come in His time
Then we shall be restored
From the co-workers @ CornerStone Staffing
Your in our prayers
There is no better place to be than in His mighty hands
As Lazarus by the bosom of Abraham
Sweetly by His side
As the chariots of fire that Elijah did ride
Blessed is the One to whom we belong
With Christ the final choice will n’er be wrong
Hold fast to the path
And you will suffer no wrath
For neither death nor life
Shall separate us from Jesus
Those who trust in His NAME!
We love you, Pastor Steve, and God does SO MUCH more
” Then Peter said,” Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you; In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them-walking, leaping and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God. Then they knew that it was he who sat begging alms at the beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.”

And it will be said in that day:
“Behold, this is our God;
We have waited for Him, and He will save us.
This is the LORD;
We have waited for Him;
We will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.”
When I thought how to understand this,
It was too painful for me–
Until I went into the sanctuary of God;
Then I understood…
Nevertheless I am continually with You;
You hold me by my right hand.
My flesh and my heart fail;
But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
1 CORINTHIANS 13
Pastor Steve, Thank you for always loving us. When I first met you, I spoke, understood and thought as a child, you helped me to become a man, to love my wife, to be a father and most importantly to Love the Lord! When I fell, you gently restored, When I did well, you where the first to congratulate, you helped me to put away childish things. Truely LOVE NEVER FAILS!!!

Dear Pastor Steve, You are in our Prayers here in az. Everyone here in Calvary Chapel Queen Creek is Praying for you and your Family. We Are Believing Our Father thru Jesus His Son for a miracle. We Love you, Bobby&chris
Camp Cameron,.
Our whole family is praying for you Steve and your family. Steve, am writing this hoping and praying it will be read to you and you will hear me. I remember you telling us once that one of your favorites in the word was “He knows the way that I take”. I can still hear your voice, knowing that we can still hang on to this truth no matter what we go through. You are so loved by our family and I weep with you all when you weep and rejoice when you rejoice. We know that weeping may endure for a night but joy DOES come in the morning. I never had the chance to tell you that I was so blessed by your faithfulness to pray for me before Christmas when I was diagnosed with cancer. Your very first question to me was “has anyone anointed and prayed for you?” I had replied no and you made sure that we took our petition to the King of Kings before I left. Thank you for your prayers on my behalf. I haven’t had the chance to tell you in person how grateful I am for you and your family and your faithfulness on every ones behalf. I am begging the Lord to please give me that opportunity to thank you personally for all you have meant to us. God did answer our prayers and I resolved to return to Cornerstone and thank all of you and go before the Lord and thank Him for His goodness and mercy toward my family and I. But I returned with such a heavy heart wanting to be near you and the whole Cornerstone family not because of what you are going through, because I know that God has you in the palm of His hand. Just like He had me. But because I know how much you are loved and it is very painful to sit in the waiting room of God and wait for His answer. We want you to know we are praying for you and trusting Him for His touch upon you and your family. He is Faithful and True. He is our merciful King who knows the way that we take. I know that for now you are in the Loving Hands of our Great Physician. I know that He loves you and yours with an everlasting love and I know that His mercies are new every morning. I pray for the morning that would be filled with joy. Father in Heaven, Only You know the way that our beloved Steve would take. We know you are in complete control of the situation and you are working out a master plan beyond our comprehension. Your ways are above ours and your thoughts are too. We humbly offer you our sacrifice of praise to You our beloved King for all Your goodness to us, For all you have blessed us with and even for the hard things in this life because in Your tender mercy You know that it will cause us to seek Your face even more. Thank You God that no matter which way Steve takes You are there. You will never leave us nor forsake us. But I do stand on the Truth of Your Word to bring my petitions, my prayers, my cries before You and ask that you would restore Steve to his family and friends. We love him and would want him here to continue to tell of Your love to all. Please touch him, comfort him and please my God ,surround and touch all who love him with the peace only You can give. Please heal our beloved pastor and friend. In the name Jesus I pray. Amen.
Psalm 1:1-3
1 Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
3 He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.
LORD this is the Godly man that You have made in our dear pastor, Your love is demenstrated through him everytime anyone is near him, You have anointed him with wisdom that is shared for all of our benefit, You have given him a beautiful family that love’s You through his example, and a tender gentlemen that always has a kind word to say to whom ever is around. LORD we plead with you and ask that you would put your healing hand on our pastor. Please Father in heaven open pastor Steve eyes. I know my Lord, that this prayer sounds selfish and please forgive us, but we all miss him so much, especialy his family. Please comfort them in this time of need and may Your peace be with them. So LORD please here our selfish prayer and wake our pastor up from his sleep. We praise you LORD for the work that You have done in his life and would ask that You would allow him to continue with the ministry you blessed him with. God Bless and Keep you and your family

“Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a KNOWN GOD.”
Quoted from Corrie Ten Boom
Joan, the passage regarding Jesus’ comment about Nathanael came to my mind when I was thinking of Pastor Steve, “Behold, an israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!” (John 1:47). I know Pastor Steve is not perfect, neither was Nathanael and yet Jesus said this of him. I believe that Pastor Steve is the kind of man that Jesus would say this to. Besides sincerely blessing me and Ray and our children over the years, he spoke at my grandmothers funeral and gave comfort to my mom. My parents are also among the hundreds that love him and are praying for him.
We are continually praying for Pastor Steve, you and your children.

.good morning brother; romans 8;11, 16-18, 26-27. if the spirit of him who raised jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his spirit who dwells in you. the spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of god, and if children, then heirs-heirs of god and joint heirs with christ, if indeed we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified together. for I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. likewise the spirit also helps in our weaknesses. for we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. now he who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the spirit is, because he makes intercession for the saints according to the will of god. psalm 17;1 Hear a just cause, O lord, Attend to my cry; Give ear to my prayer which is not from deceitful lips. psalm 4;1 Hear me when I call, O god of my righteousness! You have relieved me in my distress; Have mercy on me, and hear my prayer. I LOVE YOU BROTHER!!!!!!!. marco

I always remember how deep you get into the word and bring us along with you and are touched by the Holy Spirit. I love your style of teaching! We look forward to seeing you when we come back to California for a visit or even better yet when you and Joan come to Colorado to visit.
Joan,

Jehovah Jireh,
I beseech You and only You to lay your hand on my dear brother Steve. He is a man who only seeks to do your will; and sometimes this is hard amid the adversity within ministry and the trials of life. He has touched so many lives including my own, and helped to teach me many things within ministry. We know that You are a soverign God, and we pray for Your will to be done regarding my brother, but PLEASE LORD JESUS bring my brother out of this one…I know there are many other things that you have for him in this place. Please strengthen my sister Joan and their kids in this difficult time. In Your Name Lord Jesus!

Just read the update….Hallelujia!!!! Praise the Lord…
We are still praying, praying, praying.
We are both sad that we have just heard this news today and shocked by what has happened. Steve has been a pastor, father, friend, brother, and an effective example of Christ in our lives since our first meeting. There are few people that have committed themselves to being everything we all need them to be and yet: want nothing in return. The effectiveness of his life is being demonstrated by the outpouring of support and prayers from his extended Christian family. Our deepest sympathies are reserved for the Cameron’s and we offer any help that you may need during this time without hesitation. We continue to pray and ask that God’s perfect will will be done to the Lord’s glory and praise.

Verse One:
Hiding in the midnight,
I’ve watched life pass me by.
Haunted by each heartbreak,
And mistake I’ve let weigh me down.
Now feels like…
Chorus:
This is my new dawn
My yesterdays have come and gone
Walked in the dark too long
This is my new, this is my new dawn.
Verse Two:
I’ve washed my hands now,
I’ve laid down all my doubt
I see that sun rising, baptizing,
And shining straight into my soul
Chorus
Bridge:
Just like a child, suddenly everything’s new.
The colors collide, and I see a beautiful view
Now I feel alive…
Chorus (X2)

Today is sunday, and I am getting ready for church. wanted to let you all know that I am praying for Pastor Steve all the time. God is good, and many times during the day, Pastor Steve will pop up in my mind, and I start praying for healing for you pastor steve and faith in God’s promises for the family. Remember Isaiah 48:10 Do not be afraid for i am with you, do not be dismayed for I am your God. Stop for a moment and reflect on what He just said: I am with you; I am your God. Love you all
Hello Pastor Steves Family , I am in the envangelism team in your church . I am from Calvary Chapel La Puente . My family and I just wanted to let you know that we are praying for Pastor Steve. We ask God to give the strenght and the faith that your family needs in order to overcome this trial . We also pray to God that God may become more real to your family ,that everything that you guys have heard or your father or husband Steve has preached that you may remember that the God we serve is a righteous God and that He will never leave us or forsake us , also that you will feel the Lord right next to you in that hospital. The Lord is the begining and end He is our creator so do not fear and do not question . The Lord is in control. Remember Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who streghtens me. May God Bless You ,you are in our prayer.
Pastor Steve, Joan & Family,
You are contantly in our prayers & we are praying for your healing & quick recovery!
Isa 53:5 But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Cameron Family, We love you. We are praying. We are waiting on the Lord.
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. – 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
DEAR PASTOR STEVE AND JOAN AND FAMILY I JUST WANT TO LET YOU THAT WE ARE CONTINUOUSLY PRAYING FOR STEVE FOR HEALING , COMFORT, STRENGTH AND PEACE THAT SURPASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING, AS WELL AS FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY SO WHEN YOUR FEELING DOWN JUS T REMEMBER YOUR IN HIS ARMS, AND IN MY PRAYERS GOD BLESS YOU ALL LOVE SISTER GRACE
Words can not say enough about the love you have or how you toched the heart of so many people, but the pictures I have with you surrounded by all these men you had loved and who now have called out to God on your behalf, can say to the heart what words can not say. Here looking at you.
Amen
Steve, Joan, Sabrina, Tiffany, Steven, Rex, Marko, Sean….Words cannot express the way my heart yearns for Steve to just open his eyes, so that we will be able to see that twinkle and glisten again. We already know that God is the only one who keeps His miracles only a stones throw away, and He is the only one who can cast it upon our brother, husband, father, father-in-law, and grampie. God’s promises are not only true, but He is also the great physician, and the one who has the final say-so. God right now is craddling, comforting, and giving Steve a peace, that surpasses any kind of peace that He has ever experianced. All we can do is continue to be faithful, and ask God to see His mighty hand at work. This is not only God’s stage, but it is also His show, and a time when He loves showing His people His majesty, and His mighty hand at work.My prayer is to see God toss a miracle Steve’s way, because I know that Steve is ready catch it. Steve is a very strong person, and he was totally sold out to, whatever God has for his life. So why should we his people ask for anything less? After all, the God that we serve is the creator of all living things, and it is in Him that we find comfort. So as God continues to minister to Steve, I also ask Him to comfort, and craddle each one of you. It will be by God’s divine touch, that will open his eyes so that he too can be that great testimony of the wonderful works from our great God. Psalm 91 was given to me during my time of need. So now I pass it on to the Cameron family. In it is one of many God’s great promises that He will, protect you as well as give you comfort when you need it. The only peace, rest, and relaxation comes by letting God hold, and sustain all of you through His word. Our Father in heaven, put a hedge of protection around the Cameron family. Take each one, and hold them like a new born baby. Lord give them rest, as well a clear understanding of your promises. Lord it is your love, and your sacrifice on the cross that will let them see deep into Your heart. Lord sustain them in their time of need. Be with each one, and continue to minister to them in that soft, sweet voice. Lord we know that you are in control of everything that we go through, and let what is going on not be any different. Because Lord, it is your love, and your love only that they need during their times of sadness. So as we pray for your miracle, a miracle that can only come from You. I ask for peace, and also for Your love, and also Your grace to shower the entire family. May Your Holy Spirit also continue to speak to them. All these things I pray by the power of your Son’s most Holy name, Jesus Christ! Amen! I love all of you tremendously, and may God continue to give you strength, and a strong will to trust in Him. Sal Sigala Jr.
Praying continually for God’s will to be done. I can’t fast food easily, so I’m fasting television with you. Take care and let me know if you need anything.

Psalms 121- I will lift up my eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help, my help comes from the Lord which made heaven and earth, he will not allow your foot to be moved,he who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day nor the moon by night The Lord shall preserve your going out and you coming in from this time forth and even forevermore. keep looking unto the hills
Dear Pastor Steve,
“I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will never be shaken.” Ps. 62:1-2
Your are a true instrument and disciple of our Lord Jesus Christ. I am thankful and grateful to God our Father for using you and your family in our lives (Carlos, Maria, Erika, and Aaron). Erika remembers your kindness and how you always made her feel welcomed at church. The Lord used you and Joan to pray, counsel, teach His Word, and demonstrate His love to us. Our Abba Father is ever so near to you, Joan, and the kids and are all in His Precious Hands. As you continue to be at His feet, praising and thanking Him for all the wonderful things He has done and will do.
Dear Heavenly Father,
I thank you for Pastor Steve, Joan and the kids. May you continue to heal and strengthen them as they are wrapped in Your loving arms. May You be gloried through these trials as You draw them nearer to You. I ask these things in Jesus’ Precious Name.
Hello Cameron Family: I have never stopped praying and believing that the Lord is doing a miracle with this trial and that Steve is asleep right now because the Lord is healing him physically. Since I was at home with the nasty flu all last week for some reason I kept being waken up at 1:00 PM and was told to pray for Steve. I wouldn’t get back to sleep until 3:00 PM every night. I also have been given alot of dreams about Steve as well…all good. I am praying also for you Joanie for strength and the Lord’s comfort. I wish you did not have to go through this trial. We will continue to pray, pray, pray and will be rejoicing when he wakes up and smiles at all of us. We love all of you guys and if you need anything from us, just give us a call. Sabrina, if you need us to watch Sean, just let us know.
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who streghtens me. May God Bless You.

Psalm 103:11-12 For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us. Isaiah 55:8-9 ”For My thougths are not your thougths, nor are your ways My ways” says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. May the Lord keep blessing you all.
Pastor Steve, my heart was heavy with sorrow when i heard the news. I miss you and love you bro. You have been in my thoughts and prayers since that day. my wife and i miss your warm smile and your humorous behavior. You have been the primary example that has impacted my life. Sabrina & Rex, Tiffany & Marco, Steven and Family. You’re in our thoughts and prayers. I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. Dear Cameron Family:
Your dad and your family our in our prayers daily. My second grade Sunday School class have your dad’s name written on a prayer request sheet placed close to them to remind them to pray for the Lord to heal him.
Joan, may the Lord keep filling you with His peace as you await the Lord’s healing.
“Be still and know that I am God.”
Dear Pastor Steve,Joan and the Cameron Family,
We are praying and believing for your complete recovery. John cpt.11 v3 “Therefore his sisters sent unto him saying, L-rd behold, he whom Thou lovest is sick. 4) When Jess heard that, He said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of G-d, that the Son of G-d might be glorified thereby”.
John chpt.11:40……..”Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto you, if you would believe, you should see the glory of G-d”?
Be encouraged, keep believing and trusting. Father, thank You for hearing our prayers in Jesus wonderful, mighty Name.
Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!
PASTOR STEVE – I’LL SEE YOU SOON
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” But God has revealed [them] to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
WE CONTINUE TO WAIT ON GOD FOR A MIRACLE!!!
I’LL SEE YOU SOON!!!
Cameron Kids,
As I watch all of you it’s “Beautiful”. Your love not only for your dad but for each other. Your dad is going to be praising the Lord when he wakes up, just as I know you mom is right now. You guys have been a incredible example of the pouring in of gods word, the nurturing and instruction that your parents have instilled in you through His word, the godly example they have been and continue to do. I see the closeness, the love not only with your family but the extension of your uncles and aunts, and the continuation of the extended family. It seems God has used your family to touch a lot of lives. I praise God and thank Him for your family and that you would continue to seek Him and rely on His daily strength, that our dear brother would “wake up” at any moment when God is ready all he has to do is speak a word and Steve will arise. As you stated we wait in The Mists not without hope but through the power of His Holy Spirit. In the book of Jeremiah it says Behold I am the Lord the God of all flesh is their anything to hard for me? Call to me, and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things you do not know. He is promising us he will answer us. Dear Lord, as your word says call to me and I will answer I am calling and waiting for your answer. I ask that you would speak that word and wake up Steve give him that miraculous healing His family needs him he is a great spiritually leader in his home we believe Steve’s work here is not done yet. I ask that you continue to strengthen the family daily, that the family continues to draw close to the you and each other. Abba father cradle my sister in your loving arms bask her in your love may she hear you soft voice say follow me, trust me I am the great I AM. In jesus name amen
I know God has something for each one of us through all this. I also know that your dad would say
Well put our name here what is God showing you?
A Successful Life
“For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?” Matthew 16:26
What does it mean to be successful? Some believe it’s what you own, what you look like, or who you know. A part of success includes living in such a way that you are using what God has given you – your intellect, abilities, and energy – to fulfill His purpose for your life.
The most successful life is the person that loves the Lord with all their heart, mind, and soul, and lives to do His will.
Thought for the Day:
A successful man is one who lets God control his mind, his body, and his pocketbook.
TRULY MY UNCLE STEVE IS THIS MAN!!!
SEE YOU SOON! XOXOXO
To all the Cameron family
Praying for you.
Waiting on our Great Physician for a miracle and His will to be done.
Love you guys,
Bunny
Dear Family,
On behalf of Revival Generation Worship Center, my wife and I would just like to let you know that we are praying for Pastor Steve and for you as well. I have come to know Steve as not only a dear personal friend in the ministry, but a man of integrity and passion for God. Though it pains to see the valley that you and he are facing, we draw hope in our Savior, our Healer, and our Deliverer! Please know that our church as well as other churches are upholding you and your husband and dad in prayer. We hope… We pray… and We believe in healing power of Chirst!

Dear Steve, we want you to know that we Love and miss you and Joan very much, we have and will continue to pray for you and your family daily. As I read all these comments and prayers of the countless lives you and your family have touched, it just confirms how true we know the word of God is in that you truly reap what you sow. you have sown so much love that is coming back to you a hundred fold, and rightly so. I was thinking of how your teaching with great passion in the Men’s study in 07″ really inspired me to strengthen my comittment to serving our great and faithful Lord. I also want to thank you for praying with my wife on several occasions and giving Her spiritual guidance. I miss that great hug you give me everytime I walk into Church and our little State of the Laker talks we have
You are a wonderful Godly Man and I am praying to see you soon, until then, we will continue to Pray for strength, wisdom and Comfort from the Lord for your Wife and Children while God holds you in His Loving arms. Steve, you used to quote this scripture at the Men’s study: Job 13:15 ” though he slay me, yet will I trust Him” why? because you know without a shadow of a doubt that your redeemer lives, and it is evident in the way you live your life and the testimonies of all these people you have touched.
God Bless the Cameron Family

Hi Steve and Joanie, You’re in my thoughts constantly, I find myself praying for you even when I wake up. I miss you guys at church…….you’ve both been such a wonderful example of God’s love. You reach out and give a personal touch to everyone you come in contact with, always ready to give a hug, to counsel with God’s Word, to tell a joke. You watch out for the flock like a loving shepherd. So many times I’ve wanted to write something here, and find I’m at a loss for words. Just wish you could feel all the love and concern and prayers that are being prayed on your behalf. You are loved and appreciated by all of us. Hurry and get better. Father, allow Steve to rejoin us soon. We thank you so much for all the work You are doing, and we put our trust in You. Be glorified. In Jesus’ name.
I do pray daily for the strength of the entire family. I pray God comforts you as each moment brings on new and different emotions and challenges.God knows this and is faithful to meet you in that time. I can’t say enough about you all, you know my love flows for you . May God use this time to work within all of us and with Gods direction Mieka is making steps.
1 Peter 1:7 These tests have come to prove your faith and to show that it is good.Gold, which can be destroyed,is tested by fire.Your faith is worth more than gold and it must be tested also. Then your faith will bring thanks and shining-greatness and honor to Jesus Christ when He comes again. God loves you all.

To the Cameron Family with love and prayers.

We love you and miss you and your jokes! Come back soon and make us laugh. God bless you and your family.
The Cameron Family,
We were deeply saddened today when we found out what happend to Pastor Steve. We live in Bullhead City Arizona now, but we were counseled and married by Pastor Steve back in 2003. We are praying for your entire family and we are praying that the Lord put His hands upon Pastor Steve so that he may have a speedy recovery.
Love,
Anthony, Pauline, Isaiah, & Anthony Jr.
Dear Cameron Family,
Pastor Steve is a great pillar (Rev 3:12) for the body of Christ and a true witness for C. C. Cornerstone. I miss the wise counsel and encouragement that he would bring everytime and at the precise time (As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenence of his friend). Pastor Steve has always been a faithful, loyal and trustworthy friend who would offer godly wisdom and prayer support. Imagine speaking to GOD the way Moses, Daniel, Elijah or David did, as though He were your friend. The bible says that christians are GOD’s friends because of what Jesus did for us. Jesus told his followers “no longer do I call you servants for a servant does not know what his master is doing but I have called you friends”. We never have to think were alone when facing a major crisis , GOD is there with us. He is the friend “who sticks closer than a brother”, (prov 18:24) A few weeks back Pastor Steve noticed that I had a heavy heart and told me that if I ever wanted to share what was going on to give him a call. I did make that call to him the next day and we went to Starbucks for two hours. It blew away that he even came to pick me up. Like my grandson says ” hes my bestes friend”. Joan, We encourage you to stay in His word each day and offer up your worship and praises to Almighty God in Heaven. Keep looking to the Rock Joan, and we will continue to pray for this “man of God” and your family.
Love ED, Dawn and Heaven
Hey camerons, we love u and are continuing to pray

Joan,
… you have faithfully stood outside smiling and greeting and ready to listen and always ready to pray on the spot. Behold , how good in how pleasant it is for us to dwell together in unity.
He giveth power to the faint, and to them that have no might He increseth strenght. We miss your smiling face
we miss you…. we love you… W E M I S S Y O U
Pastor Steve,
Hi it’s me Linda. Just wanted to say how much I miss seeing you at church! I was thinking about the last time I talked to you, that Thursday night before your heart attack, remember I saw you at Costco in the parking lot? When you asked me how I was doing, I answered fine, but you know what I wasn’t fine. I mean I was still walking with the Lord of course, but lately, my life had just become so BUSY with the kids, work, and stuff. That night I drove home thinking about things, and after this happend to you I just found myself analyzing where I was giving the majority of my time to. And I realized it wasn’t to the Lord. Pastor Steve, I want you to know I have slowed down, and have put Him first again. I know you can hear this being read to you, and I want you to know just like I told you that night, you and your family have a special place in my heart. I want you to know that God IS using this to speak to so many of us. So many people are praying for you, Joan and the kids. Don’t worry, there are so many people who are here for them and love them all, ok? The Lord wants you to rest right now, but I pray we will all be able to see you back at church soon, speaking to all of us, and sharing with us what the our Awesome God, is showing you right now. I will write again soon! In His Love, Linda
“O satisfy us early with THY MERCY; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.” Psalm 90:14
Steven Jr.-That Thurs night before your dad’s heart attack, he said, “For the first time in my life, I had true, real fellowship with my son.” He talked of your long conversation on the phone when you were in Colorado. He was so thankful & proud at what the Lord was doing in your life. He loves you so much Steven. Just hearing him talk about you, and what the Lord was doing in your life, and the scriptures you shared with him, brought tears to my eyes. It was an awesome example of a father’s love for his son. He is so proud of you! Our Heavenly Father also has so much love for you, more than you could ever imagine. Don’t lose focus of what God has done in your life. Keep your eyes on the Lord, and your heart open to what His plans for you are. Don’t lose faith.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend upon your own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5
Joan-I love you so much! You have ALWAYS been so loving and caring right from the first time Jesse introduced me to you! “You are so special” just as you always have told me!
) I think about you all several times through each day, and pray everytime I do. Don’t worry, God will make a way to work everything out! I am here if you need me. Love you Babe.
“For NOTHING is IMPOSSIBLE with GOD” Luke 1:37

I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done [that which is] good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. 2 KINGS 2:3
Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.

Hello Steve,
Just a few lines to say you are thought about often and we are still keeping you in our prayers as well as our hearts on a daily basis. We love you and have our mustard seed faith that you will be back real soon.
God speed & as always be blessed
All that our Savior hath spoken
Came from the heart of God;
Surely it cannot be broken,
Sealed with His precious blood.
Tempests may rage and thunder,
Mountains be rent asunder,
Nations may fear and wonder—
Trust, and be undismayed.
Trust when the light warm and tender
Seemeth to Thee withdrawn;
Wait a few hours, and in splendor
Morning again will dawn!
Pastor Steve,
I just want you to know that the Lord used you in our lives to bring our marriage together and when times got rough he used you to bring us back together and see the true meaning of the agape love you always told us about. We love you and we thank the Lord for using you in our lives. We will keep you in our prayers and pray that the Lord is just giving you a much needed rest so he can continue to use when you are 100% again. GOD BLESS. Your family is in our prayers.

Pray Without Ceasing
When we awake in the morning
To another new day,
So often we are neglient
And fail to stop and pray.
Each day is a gift from our Lord,
O let us praise Him, friend!
Every single breath that we take
Is a special gift from Him.
We have so many blessings
For which to thank our Lord,
And to neglect our time in prayer,
We just cannot afford.
He has given us instructions,
Surely we all have heard,
We are to pray without ceasing…
It is clear in His Word.
Whether on the highest mountain,
Or in the valley low,
No matter where we are, my friend,
He hears us-that we know.
O let us walk continually
In prayer to our great God,
That we might be obedient…
As on this earth we trod.
Let us Pray Without Ceasing.
“Pray without ceasing.
In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
(I Thes 5:17-18)
May God be with all of you at these hard times but God has that plan and what ever the outcome of it all, We know that this will speak to and bless everyone. We Love You! and God Bless.

Jhn 5:5 Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years.
Jhn 5:6 When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”
Jhn 5:7 The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.”
Jhn 5:8 Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk . Rise is my prayer for steve

PASTOR STEVE – I’LL SEE YOU SOON
I LOVE YOU, MISS YOU AND PRAY FOR ALL OF YOU DAILY. YOUR LOVE IS AMAZING, STEADY AND UN CHANGING, YOUR LOVE IS MOUNTAIN FIRM BENEATH MY FEET, HALLELUJAH,HALLELUJAH,HALLELUJAH, YOUR LOVE MAKES ME SING, A LITTLE WORSHIP FOR YOU ALL.
“Look, I go forward, but He is not there, and backward, but I cannot perceive Him; when He works on the left hand, I cannot behold Him; when He turns to the right hand, I cannot see Him. But He knows the way that I take; when He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.” Job 23:8-10
At the same time, Job complained and trusted. He complained about the fact that God was incomprehensible to him; in spite of all of Job’s pleadings, at this point in the story, the Lord had not shown up. Job still had no answers. It is remarkable, therefore, that Job still trusted Him. Job had so little to go on—God did not explain the reasons for his immense suffering. All Job knew was that one day everything was fine, and then everything in his life began tearing apart. He lost his children, livestock, servants, and finally his health. And God said nothing to him about why. It was indeed a test, a very big one. Job wanted to meet with God, he wanted answers. He wanted an audience with the Holy One. He desired a mediator that would go between himself and God.
Yet God remained silent about these matters. In fact, there is no biblical evidence that He ever told Job what had happened.
God did eventually show up. In fact, He showed up in great power and wisdom. He asked Job over 60 direct questions—all of which contrasted God’s immensity with Job’s frail humanness—none of which Job could answer. He was utterly overwhelmed by God. At the end of all the questioning, Job made his classic statement to the Lord: “I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees You” (Job 42:5).
That was enough for Job. In reality, he didn’t need to know the why. He didn’t need to know the why because he then had greater revelation of the Who. Caught up with God Himself, there was need of nothing else.
Thus, we must wait upon God when He is silent. Eventually we’ll hear His voice and know what to do or where to go (2 Corinthians 4:8b)… but it’s the times when we hear nothing that can be the most difficult. We must not get ahead of the Lord, as it is often stated.
Do Proverbs 3:5-6. Focus on one day at a time (Matthew 6:34). Remain faithful to what you know to do right now. Continue to renew your mind by the word of God (Romans 12:2).
This old chorus reminds us:
We must wait, wait, wait on the Lord
We must wait, wait, wait on the Lord
And learn our lessons well
In His timing He will tell us
What to do, where to go, what to say
Pastor Steve,
This week will be 4 weeks without you and about 8 since we have seen you. All I can say is that I know we all imagine in our minds the day when we will be reunited with you as a living testamony of the Greatness of God! Only He knows what the future holds but every time one of your classmates thinks of seeing you, we offer up a prayer on your behalf that you will one day speak again into our lives as you once did. You are, forever a part of the MLOS 31 journey. This is your week Pastor Steve! We think of and pray for you often and will not stop petitioning the Lord until we know you make that comeback we so desire! Pastor Steve we miss you and you are in our prayers everyday we know by faith God can do all things. We love you.Joan we miss you just want to let you know we pray for you and the kids everyday that God will give you strength i know he does.God is with you always and i know one of your fav scriptures prov 3:5 love you.
Haven’t stopped praying. God hears our cry of that we are certain. Praying for His strength in you and through you.
“But He knows the way I take; When He has tried me, I shall come forth as gold. My foot has held fast to His path; I have kept His way and not turned aside. I have not departed from the command of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food. But He is unique and who can turn Him? And what His soul desires, that He does. For He performs what is appointed for me, and many such decrees are with Him. Therefore, I would be dismayed at His presence; When I consider, I am terrified of Him. It is God who has made my heart faint, and the Almighty who has dismayed me, BUT I am not silenced by the darkness, Nor deep gloom which covers me.
No Steve my friend, you are not silenced by the darkness or gloom. Your circumstances have accomplished more than any of us will ever know. You are continuing to bring your King glory in spite of the silence. I wish I could just be there to hug you and your family tight. But I know that the Lord Almighty has already got that covered. I just want you and your family to know that we are continuing to call upon the Great Physician. We have heard what man has said. Now we wait for what God will say. We love you guys. Rest in Him my beloved Camerons He NEVER fails.
Pasroe Steve, there is not a day that goes by that you are not in our thoughts and prayers. I can remember like it was yesterday the day I was sitiing in back of you at church and the way you were talking and looking at your daughter Sabrina with such love. I was so blessed. Joan, may God renew your strength daily and answere the prayers of so many!
Lord, thank you for sending Your Holy Spirit to be our Comforter and Helper int he midst of difficulties.
We love you.

Dearest Steve, Joan and Cameron Family,
This morning I was reading the book of Job. It’s a very difficult book for me. When I read it, I have the advantage of looking at the whole story and God’s perspective. But Job didn’t have that luxury while he was going through it. There are many things this side of heaven that we will never understand. One of those things I don’t understand is why things happen the way they do. But I am reminded that the secret things belong to the Lord (Deut. 29:29). So I will fall back on the things that I do know. That He is good. That He loves us. That His purposes and plans are above mine. I am praying for you today asking Him to give you what He promised… peace that surpasses understanding. Not a peace FROM understanding, but a peace that SURPASSES understanding. May He guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Looking Unto Jesus,
Matt
Nino i’m still praying for you to open your eyes and to be allright and to be able to go home to be with my auntie and cousins and your cute grandson. Just wanted to tell you how much i love you and i want you to get better . Praying really hard nino XOXOXOXO
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me… And Your right hand will save me.
PASTOR STEVE – I’LL SEE YOU SOON
Querido Pastor Steve y familia:
Job 23:10: But HE KNOWS the way that I take; When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.
Job 13:15: Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him.
I encourage ALL family, friends, and acquaintances to listen to or watch this study. I was blessed. Every trouble that passes our way begins to make sense! We will always ask the question, “Why?” but hearing this study will give you the strength and courage to rest assured that HE KNOWS!
The above two verses mean a lot to my uncle and are two of his favorites. God Himself put this study on Pastor Larry’s heart “for such a time as this.”

Pastor Steve, many times you were like a father to me, giving me words of the Lord to lift me to my feet. I pray the Lord will lift you to your feet and continue to use you as his vessel for his glory. May the peace that surpasses understanding be with your family and loved ones. Amen
Dear Steve, Joan and all of the Cameron Family,
We just wanted to let you know that you all have been in our prayers daily since we heard about what happened. What a blessing that you have so many prayer warriors and such a wonderful family to surround you! Know that we will continue to take your needs to His throne.

In the Palm of His Hand
In the palm of His hand there’s peace-
Peace beyond the human mind-
Peace that endures the storms of life
And can never be defined…
It passes all understandings!
In the palm of His hand there’s joy-
Joy even when all looks grim-
Joy that this world could never give,
For it comes only from Him…
Unspeakable, full of Glory!
In the palm of His hand there’s hope-
Hope for a new tomorrow-
Hope of that land beyond the sea
Where there is no more sorrow…
Christ in us, the hope of Glory!
In the palm of His hand there’s light-
Light that guides our steps each day-
Light that shines thru the darkest night
Revealing the righteous way…
O what precious Holy Light!
In the palm of His hand there’s life-
Life so abundant and pure-
Life given by the Lord Jesus
Shall forevermore endure…
In the palm of His Hand!
Jesus said: “and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them of my Father’s hand.”
(Jn 10:28-29)

You are all in our prayers everyday, all day, We pray for that miracle from the Father above. 1 Thessalonians 5:9-11,
For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmites, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then I am strong.”
II Corinthians 12:9-10

Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and His understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary
and increses the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
Isaiah 40:28-31

IN HIS HANDS
By Pastor Raul Ries
“The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.” Deuteronomy 33:27
Jesus is actively involved in our lives. Nothing happens accidentally – everything that takes place in our lives is ordained and planned by God. That’s why we can relax and trust the Lord, even in the midst of great trials and tribulations. He has us in His very capable hands. Our heavenly Father is looking out for our best interests, and sometimes that means we may be denied certain things that we think we need.
When I look back at my life, I am thankful that God didn’t answer some of my prayers in the affirmative. I can see now that some of the things I desired would have destroyed me. God’s “no’s” are bathed in His compassion. He sees the bigger picture and knows what’s best for us. We need to trust his judgment.
Thought for the Day:
“The Lord holds every minute of every hour of everyday of every week of every month of every year in His hands.” –Elisabeth Elliott

My beloved Camerons, I am sooo glad to hear you are breathing on your own Steve. I write knowing that all these notes are getting read to you and I know that you are continuing to fight your way back. Keep up the good fight my friend. You have so many of us praying for you and we both know that the Lord is faithful to accomplish what He began in us. We offer to Our Almighty King our sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving! Through God we shall do valiantly! It is He who will tread down our adversaries. Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden. The God who is our salvation. God is to us a God of deliverances; And to God the Lord belong escapes from death. Ps. 68:19,20. The Lord continues to show Himself strong on behalf of you and your family. I know that they are continuing to draw on His strength and He is more than faithful to carry you all through. We are continuing to pray for you all and know that God is doing a great work in you and through you all. Praise God! We love you all! Father, as I close my letter to my beloved friends let not my prayers come to a close but always without ceasing let our requests be made known to you. I thank you God, that You are near. I thank you that you have done mighty things on behalf of my friends. Continue to sustain them and bring about strength in their weakness..I pray You will be glorified through it all and we as your people will be faithful to continue to fight the good fight. Thank you for Your mercies that are new every morning. Please my Father, touch my friend with your healing hand and bring him back to a work greater than we dare dream. We love you Father, because You first loved us. Increase our faith! Help our fears. Draw near to us as we draw near to You. You are so good to us and for that we thank you. Please, in Your mercy, answer quickly and strengthen our friend. In the Name of Jesus we ask these things. Amen

Psa 64:9 Then everyone will stand in awe, proclaiming the mighty acts of God, realizing all the amazing things he does.
Psa 64:10 The godly will rejoice in the LORD and find shelter in him. And those who do what is right will praise him.
Cameron family always in our prayers everyday. We love you and miss you very much. prov 3:5:)
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee, Isaiah 26:3 A mind stayed upon God is a mind at peace. What does it mean to stay your mind upon God? Is it simply saying over and over again ” I believe in God” No I do not believe so. Rather, it is concentrating on the aspects of the character of God that appropriately apply to the situation in which you find yourself.
He is present everywhere. And even in the time of human tragedy. God was there operating in His mercy. He could of stopped it all, changed the circumstaqnces, and come to his rescue. Yet He did not. Why? I do not know. we do not understand. we only know that, understand it or not, it is all right. we can say this because of His character.
God cannot lie; He is righteous. His promises, which are yea and amen. were theirs in their moment of distress. “For He Himself said, I will never desert you, nor will i ever forsake you. Heb 13:5 I got this little devotional out of Beloved From God’s Heart To Yours. Kay Arthur.
Dear Pastor Steve,
I am still in prayer for you and your family…it is awesome to be updated of your progress and how you are fighting the good fight. I thank our God, for His care for you and your beautiful wife Joanie and family. Thou will keep in perfect peace, him who’s mind is stayed on Thee, you are the Lord Jehovah, forever! Lord, do continue to keep the Cameron’s in peace with your grace and mercy upon them in this situation. I love you my friend. I believe God is working in ways we don’t see for you and all of us as we depend on Him for the future He holds. Love and a great big hug…
Keeping you close in our thoughts and prayers -Our God is an Awesome God – hugs and kisses to all – Darryl, Cristy, Daniel, Rebecca and Jonathan
Hello My Brother.
Not a day goes by that I do not think about you. Your soft voice, your compassion, your love, your comforting words ,your encouragement. I can hear you calling me “bro”!!! I missed you so much over these many years we have been apart and I mss you even more now but our God is faithful and he will soon turn the tears into tears of joy and rejoicing. What a blessing to know that you are loved by so many, and yes my brother your life has touched others more than you know. You will soon have the blessing to know the love we have for you when you awake and see the praises of your loved ones. It is then that Our Lord Jesus’s name will be magnified even more above the heavens!
My Beloved Camerons, Just want you to know that you guys are still very much in our thoughts and prayers. I know that thus far has been a journey like no other but we can trust our Beloved King. Steve my friend, once again I write hoping, praying you will hear our notes to you. I pray you are continuing to fight your way back and will be ready soon to declare Gods loving kindness to all who will listen. Ps. 145:8 declares, The Lord is gracious and merciful; Slow to anger and great in livingkindness. The Lord is good to all, and His mercies are over all His works. All Thy works shall give thanks to Thee, O Lord, and Thy godly ones shall bless Thee. They shall speak of the glory of Thy kingdom, and talk of Thy power; To make known to the sons of men Thy mighty acts, and the glory of the majesty of Thy kingdom. Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Thy dominion endures throughout all generations. The Lord sustains all who fall, and raises up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all look to Thee, and Thou dost give them their food in due time. Thou dost open Thy hand, and dost satisfy the desire of every living thing. The Lord is righteous in all His ways, and kind in all His deeds. The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He will also hear their cry and will save them. Our cries do go up to our God for your complete and full recovery. To continue to sustain and strengthen you daily and your family also. Father, In the mighty name of Jesus we come once again and thank you for your loving kindness toward us. For your mercies that are new every morning and for the hope that we have in You. We ask again for Your mighty power to be demonstrated in the life of my beloved friend Steve and his family. Touch Steve daily with Your Spirit, Your strength, Your healing, Your comfort, Your peace, and above all Your perfect will. I pray that his recovery would astound those are full of unbelief and have no hope. That his recovery would be one that brings You the glory and honor that You and only You deserve. Great and Mighty are You and all your works and I pray that today you would show yourself strong in the life of my friend and his family. Thank you for the successful transfer, for his breathing on his own, for all the things that we take for granted daily. Make us aware of our need for You always. But Father, in Your mercy please touch Steve. Touch him as our Great Physician our Bread of Life. Wash his mind with the water of Your word that he may continue to know Your nearness to him. Strengthen my sister Joan with your peace and comfort that only You can give. Thank You so much for hearing our cry. We are grateful for Your goodness to us in spite of us. We thank you that we are clothed in Your Righteousness and not our own. So much to be grateful for. Words cannot even do it justice. Thank You Jesus! Please…please..touch my friend Steve….today. Amen

BIBLE MEDITATION:
“And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.” Colossians 3:15
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
In Florida where I was raised, we had a lot of hurricanes. Even as a child I learned that in the center of the worst hurricane, there’s a calm called the “eye” of the storm. When the storm passes over, there is a calm like a millpond on a summer evening. Friend, in your storm today there is a center that is calm. It’s the heart of God. He is there. He is the great I AM in the midst of your storm. As someone has well said, “God gives peace that the world can’t take away.” It is supernatural peace.
ACTION POINT:
Do you have the peace of God in your heart? Claim the promises of Psalm 29:11, Isaiah 26:3-4, and Romans 5:1-4 today.
God Bless you Pastor Steve, you are in our prayers
“But joyful are those who have the God of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in the Lord their God. ”
Psalm 146:5
“He gathers the lambs in His arms and carries them close to His heart”. Isaiah 40:11
The Lord cares for you at this time and always. We also care for you, and pray for you daily. We Love you.

“This is my comfort in my affliction, for Thy word hath quickened me.” Psalm 119:50

“Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted.” Matthew 5:4
“Let not your heart be troubled. Ye believe in God, believe also in Me.” John 14:1

Pastor Steve, Joan, Sabrina, Tiffany, Steven, and family…
My apologies for taking this long to write, and I am also sorry that I haven’t stopped by the Cornerstone fellowship earlier to visit… it’s unfortunate that situations in this life are sometimes necessary to bring us back together.
It was but a day or two after Pastor Steve’s heart attack when I was listening to “Pastor’s Perspective” on KWAVE and the 1st caller that day shared the news & prayer request… my jaw hit the floor (ouch!), my heart sank, and my voice cried out to our Great God & Savior for you. While it was wonderful to hear that this request was going out to all of the Calvary family across the nation and around the world, as well as seeing these requests here on the website, I am reminded that each and everyone one of us has a more excellent Great High Priest WHO IS CONTINUALLY INTERCEEDING before the throne of grace on our behalf, for the Cornerstone fellowship, for you Joan, Sabrina, Tiffany & Steven, BUT ESPECIALLY FOR YOU Pastor Steve!
All of the above comments, concerns, and prayers are A TESTIMONY of the agape love that God has manifested, and ministered to so many people, in & thru our Pastor Steve and his family… how great is our God!!!!
Pastor Steve, Pastor Joe & several other folks know of the various adversities of life that I’ve personally endured (and am still enduring…p.s. I’m currently in nearby Claremont)…. but one of the times of encouragement I’ve received from Pastor Steve that I will always hold on to is when he was reminding me of the many times in Scripture the phrase “but God…” appears and how it is that when GOD is factored into the equation of life, into the various times of trouble, situations & circumstances, when there was no human means of escape or deliverance, and nothing seems to make sense of it all, His presence, intercession, power, might, will (and all the rest), COULD, WOULD and DID change EVERYTHING!!! In spite of and IN THE FACE OF ALL THE ADVERSITY that His people were facing, the mighty hand of GOD our Savior, moved on their behalf and He delivered them. From prisons to palaces, from caves to conquests, from obscurity to nobility, from poverty to prosperity, from sickness to wholeness, and from death to life… and while the amazing constant is that it is not accomplished in the time & manner that WE think is best and should occur, GOD IS IN CONTROL and is working in a time that is not our time, and in a way that is not our way, but the glory is of God and it is to Him that it all (always and in all ways) belongs.
Pastor Steve, Joan, Sabrina, Tiffany & Steven… our prayer is that you would all HOLD FAST to the precious promises of our God for HE IS FAITHFUL, keep your eyes on Him and BEHOLD HIS GLORY, rest in the Lord (He is YOUR PEACE) …be still and know that He is YOUR GOD and will fight this battle FOR YOU, and lastly, PRAISE HIM(!!!) for His name IS WONDERFUL and THE JOY OF THE LORD IS YOUR STRENGTH!!!
YOU ARE GREATLY BELOVED, yes here on earth among us that you have pastored, BUT ESPECIALLY IN HEAVEN, IN THE PRESENCE OF ANGELS!!!! RISE UP PASTOR STEVE!!!!
RISE UP AND WALK BEFORE YOUR GOD AND GLORIFY THE LORD IN THE PRESENCE OF HIS ENEMIES!!!!
We love you Pastor and you are all kept in our prayers!!!
ROMANS 8:17-18 (New King James Version)
…and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
(Isaiah 53:4-5)Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.
Cameron Family my continued prayer’s are with you and your family. Faithfully praying for Paster Steve to heal and bring him back to us!.May God continue to resonate in your heart and may HE be glorified amidst this trial.

When You Speak, God Hears
by Max Lucado
Those who pray keep alive the watch fires of faith. For the most part we don’t even know their names. Such is the case of someone who prayed on a day long ago. His name is not important. He is important not because of who he was, but because of what he did.
He went to Jesus on behalf of a friend. His friend was sick, and Jesus could help, and someone needed to go to Jesus, so someone went. Others cared for the sick man in other ways. Some brought food; others provided treatment; still others comforted the family. Each role was crucial. Each person was helpful, but no one was more vital than the one who went to Jesus.
John writes: “So Mary and Martha sent someone to tell Jesus, ‘Lord, the one you love is sick’” (John 11:3, emphasis mine).
Someone carried the request. Someone walked the trail. Someone went to Jesus on behalf of Lazarus. And because someone went, Jesus responded.
In the economy of heaven, the prayers of saints are a valued commodity. John the apostle would agree. He wrote the story of Lazarus and was careful to show the sequence: The healing began when the request was made.
The phrase the friend of Lazarus used is worth noting. When he told Jesus of the illness, he said, “The one you love is sick.” The power of the prayer, in other words, does not depend on the one who makes the prayer but on the one who hears the prayer.
We can and must repeat the phrase in manifold ways. “The one you love is tired, sad, hungry, lonely, fearful, depressed.” The words of the prayer vary, but the response never changes. The Savior hears the prayer. He silences heaven so he won’t miss a word. The Master heard the request. Jesus stopped whatever he was doing and took note of the man’s words. This anonymous courier was heard by God.
John’s message is critical. You can talk to God because God listens. Your voice matters in heaven. He takes you very seriously. When you enter his presence, the attendants turn to you to hear your voice. No need to fear that you will be ignored. Even if you stammer or stumble, even if what you have to say impresses no one, it impresses God–and he listens.
Intently. Carefully. The prayers are honored as precious jewels. Purified and empowered, the words rise in a delightful fragrance to our Lord. “The smoke from the incense went up from the angel’s hand to God” (Rev. 8:4). Incredible. Your words do not stop until they reach the very throne of God.
One call and heaven’s fleet appears. Your prayer on earth activates God’s power in heaven.
You are the someone of God’s kingdom. Your prayers move God to change the world. You may not understand the mystery of prayer. You don’t need to. But this much is clear: Actions in heaven begin when someone prays on earth. What an amazing thought!
When you speak, Jesus hears.
And when Jesus hears, the world is changed.
All because someone prayed.
Dear Camerons and Roarks,
We love you and pray for you all.
The Valencia’s
We think of you daily, we pray for you daily. We must take comfort in knowing that our ALL loving, ALL gracious, our ALL knowing God is on the throne. He is in control. He has a plan. We must take comfort in just that. As we cry out to Him, we have comfort that He hears our prayers.
Dear Lord,
Please touch our dear brother’s lungs. I ask for a healing Lord. Wrap your hands around him Lord, touch him, heal him from head to toe. May you be with Joan, the kids and family during this time. We love you Lord, and thank you for your mercy and grace.

I don’t know how you are feeling deep in your heart, but I do know that you Love Steve so much, just your example how you are by his side day and night, shows me your a great example of a loving wife. I know that you read all these messages to Pastor Steve so as you are reading this to him I wanted to say something to you to. This comes from my heart, and I been wanting to write you for a while so here goes. I want to say that I miss you dearly here at service, I miss your smile and how you would come up to me and ask how I was doing. I know that you Love the Lord and Pastor Steve and I know when I am down and need someone or something to lift me up, that the message and the women and men here and just fellowshipping with them made a big difference in how I feel. So if you just want to here the word or fellowship or need a big hug or to listen to Tiffany worship with her heart please come back to Calvary Chapel Cornerstone so I can give you that great big hug and tell you I miss and love you. I know it must be hard for you but I really miss you and just to see your smile and see you here. Your miss greatly…. Here is a Scripture for you both:
Isaiah 40:29-31
He gives strength to the weary. And to Him who lacks might. He increases power.
Though youths grow weary and tired. And vigorous young men stumble badly.
Yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength:
They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run and not get tired. They will walk and not become weary. AMEN
Pastor Steve, I greatly appreciate our talks. I pray the lord restores your health completely and soon.
psalms 34:15 the eyes of the lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their cry.

Daily Devotional from Love Worth Finding Ministries
MARCH 22
BIBLE MEDITATION:
“And He arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.” Mark 4:39
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
Remember when Jesus was with his disciples on the Sea of Galilee and a storm came upon them? The lightning began to play in the wind. The sea churned, and the gentle winds turned into a cruel gale. The little ship was tossed and turned like a cork. The disciples despaired and said to the Lord Jesus Christ who was asleep, “Don’t You care if we perish? Do something!” Jesus said, “Peace, be still,” and the winds ceased and the sea calmed. This world is headed into a storm, and the spiritual barometer is dropping. Our world will not know peace until Jesus, the Prince of Peace, comes and says, “Peace, be still.”
ACTION POINT:
Read the full account of what happened to the disciples in Mark 4:36-41. What application can you give to your life?
We think of you both and pray for you daily. You are surely missed at church…….I could always count on both of sitting in the same seats at church…….well, those seats are waiting for you to come back and and to take your place in the midst of us. Joan, we are waiting on the Lord with you…….May you find peace and rest (and joy) in His love for you. He is right there with you, going through this with you. You have been such a huge blessing–how you both minister to everyone you come in contact with. Lord, cover this dear couple, our beloved friends, with your loving grace, and may they feel Your presence right in their midst.
Nino, just wanted to say hi and i love you and miss you so very much…. I got to talk to my auntie joanie today and it was really nice tohear from her …. HOpe to see you really soon = ) XOXOXOXOXOOX
Joanie – you and Pastor Steve are in my heart always. I know you have been so very strong through all of this sitting by his side, Joanie – you’ve always been the one telling all of us what power God has, and how to handle things — oh how my heart cries out for the Lord to allow you to feel his arms around you carrying you through this tough time, reminding you He is by your side & He has a plan, He can hear the cries deep in your heart & He will guide you through this. Continue to be strong Joanie, don’t loose hope – God is in control. I love you so very much & I miss you so so so so much!!!!!!! The light you give off, the joy you always have in your greetings, the kindness you continue to extend…Joanie – what an amazing Woman of God you are.
Pastor Steve I’ve never met anyone as kind hearted as you & Joan, always so loving, never judgemental and so full of Joy in your eyes. You were always the first person to grab someone you hadn’t seen in awhile & welcome them back, always the example of how to love and love and continue to love despite anything that has gone on. You always put everyone else’s need to talk to pour their heart out ahead of anything you had going on … you are truly a man of God, the example, the one to turn to share the hardships & the joys of the Lord – you are the man of Prayer that turned to God in every aspect of life … that always stood strong. I know you are strong right now & God is even stronger standing by your side. It’s time to wake up though – come back & let us rejoice in the joys of the Lord with you once again – we all love you so much & miss you & are anxious to see you again. I love you & you are in my heart always!!
Hi to everyone..just wanted to say i love you all and i’m tinking bout my nino alot…. i wish i can be there to see him and talk to him face to face. APRIL 3
BIBLE MEDITATION:
“For He hath put all things under His feet. But when He saith all things are put under Him, it is manifest that He is excepted, which did put all things under Him.” 1 Corinthians 15:27
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
God has given us kingdom authority. Jesus said, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19). When problems get over your head, remember they are under His feet. You need not be discouraged when troubles strike. It is the pathway your Savior has walked before you. It is the way of the cross, and He has won the victory!
ACTION POINT:
Write down the hardest thing you’re having to deal with today. Now, put that paper on the floor. Look down on it. Now you have a glimpse of God’s vantage point over the problems in your life.
may the LORD keep blessing you all love victor
Dear pastor steve,

Your lessons, teachings are still touching and ministering to people. I think you about often and hear your voice whenever I ponder on certian scriptures.
Thank you for your seadfast work and love for the body. The sacrifices you have made still still benfit your friends. Thank you for being such a godly example. Keep fighting pastor steve. God is in the midst.

Hi Steve and Joan, you are both on my heart. Just wanted to send our love your way…….may you feel God’s loving presence, and though this is a such a difficult time, may His love and strength and joy carry you. In the midst of our pain, He is there. In the midst of trials, He is there. Remember, you are the apple of His eye (Zech. 2:8). Listen to this from Zephaniah 3:16-17: “Do not fear; Zion, let not your hands be weak. The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you in His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” May you be blessed today. Steve is continually in our prayers. We love you!
Steve, Joan and family,
Sending love and prayer your way. The Lord is Good, the Lord is Good, blessed be the man who puts his trust in Him the Lord is Good, the Lord is Good…taste and see that the Lord is Good. May that hymn resonate in your spirits as you wait on Him to move in the circumstances of each day. May He keep you in Perfect Peace! We, Roger and I love you!!
Psalm 25:1-7
A Prayer for Guidance, Pardon and Protection
[1] To you, O Lord, my soul is lifted up.
[2] O my God, I have put my faith in you, let me not be shamed; let not my haters be glorying over me.
[3] Let no servant of yours be put to shame; may those be shamed who are false without cause.
[4] Make your steps clear to me, O Lord; give me knowledge of your ways.
[5] Be my guide and teacher in the true way; for you are the God of my salvation; I am waiting for your word all the day.
[6] O Lord, keep in mind your pity and your mercies; for they have been from the earliest times.
[7] Do not keep in mind my sins when I was young, or my wrongdoing: let your memory of me be full of mercy, O Lord, because of your righteousness

To the Cameron family,God is sovereign over the things that happen to us. That does not mean that everything that happens to us is his responsiblility. For example he does not cause evil. Yet he may permit evil as he did to Job’s life. For reasons that go beyond our understanding. God’s sovereignty means that he is God and has the right to work out his own purposes in our lives. I’ll always keep praying for Steve and you guys..
Hi Steve and Joan! I just love you guys! We’re with you in spirit and will continue to lift you up in prayer. God loves you so much………may you feel His presence, His strength, and His peace and joy today. May you have a melody in your hearts today and be uplifted.
Hi Steve & Joanie,

The same God who raised me from the dead, WILL bring him back to life!

Daily Devotional from Love Worth Finding Ministries
MAY 13
BIBLE MEDITATION:
“Give thanks unto the Lord, call upon His name, make known His deeds among the people.”
1 Chronicles 16:8
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
If you are a child of God, you ought to be able to thank God every moment of every day no matter what happens to you. Have you ever stopped to thank God for the water that you drink? Did you know that in some third world countries the majority of the population doesn’t have reasonably pure drinking water? Millions of people die annually just from water-related diseases. If you wear a hearing aide, do you ever thank God for that? Some people wish they had a hearing aide. If you are a student in the midst of final exams, do you thank God that you have an exam to take? There are many who wish they could afford college. Do you thank God for your next breath?
ACTION POINT:
Take whatever it is that looks like a trial in your life today and thank God for it! Thank Him every time the thought enters your mind to grumble or complain.
I love you guys Vic
On behalf of my family, continued prayers go to you Pastor Steve and waiting to see that smiling face again!! For Joan and family may God continue to give you that peace necessary for strength and continue hope.
Isiah 58:8 Thy light shall break forth as the morning, and they health shall spring forth speedily; and thy righteousness go before thee: the glory of the Lord shall be thy rear guard
hey joan
this message is for you
wanted to let you know that i still pray for God to have mercy on Pastor steve. Please tell pastor steve that i said hi. More often i have been praying for you to come back to church. come back to praise and glorify God’s name and then be still and be quiet and watch the goodness, the love, and the mercy of God unfold. Joan there is a phrase i repeat to myself often and repeating that phrase brings me back to God. here it is: where there is fear, there is no faith. where there is faith, there is no fear. I miss you.
WE MISS YOU:{ WE LOVE U…MAY THE LORD BE WITH YOU, MAY HE HEAL U FROM HEAD TO TOE..MAY OUR LORD FATHER BE WITH JOAN AND FAMILY GUARDIAN YOUR HEARTS AND MIND…LUV GRACE & DOMINIC
Hi Steve and Joanie! You’re never far from our thoughts and prayers. As days come and go, remember Jesus’ words, “Lo, I am with you always…..”……that means every moment of everyday, He’s with you. We would all be so blessed by your presence at church……..please join us soon. Miss you. Love, all your brothers and sisters at CC Cornerstone
WHEN LIFE GETS SO HARD
I WANTED TO FIND SOME WORDS ON A CARD
THAT WOULD HELP TO GET THRU IT WHEN LIFE GETS SO HARD
IT SEEMS YOU CAN’T BEAR IT – PERHAPS CAN’T GO ON -
WHEN DEEP IN THE HEART THERE’S NO TRACE OF A SONG .
SOME WORDS THAT WOULD COMFORT – WHEN LATE IN THE NIGHT
THE TRIALS RETURN AND – YOU’RE TOO TRIED TO FIGHT.
OR THE TEARS FLOW SO OFTEN IT SEEMS YOU’LL RUN DRY.
AND LIFE GETS SO TOUGH THAT YOU JUST WANT TO DIE -
OR AT LEAST GO AND HIDE – WHERE YOU’RE SAFE FROM ALL PAIN.
SOMEPLACE YOU CAN REST ‘TIL YOU FIND JOY AGAIN.
WHAT ARE THE WORDS YOU SO NEED TO HEAR -
THAT WILL HELP AND WILL HEAL AND REMOVE ALL THE FEAR -
THAT BUILDS UP INSIDE ‘TIL YOU THINK YOU’LL EXPLODE -
WHAT ARE THE WORDS THAT WILL LIGHTEN THE LOAD ?
IF ONLY I KNEW THE RIGHT WORDS TO SAY
TO ENCOURAGE AND BLESS YOU OR COMFORT SOME WAY.
I KNOW NOT THE WORDS BUT THIS I CAN DO .
I SHALL OFFER UP PRAYERS TO THE FATHER FOR YOU.
LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU YOUR BROTHER AND SISTER IN CHRIST.
Nino,
It has been almost 22 weeks now and I miss you so much. Not a day goes by that I don’t pray for you or think about you. Our whole family misses you so much and I pray so hard for the Lord to do a miracle in your life… Why God is taking so long? Who knows….maybe there are still people whose lives will be touched thru this, but call me selfish, we want you back. I miss your laugh so much…when you would hold your belly and laugh so loud and uncontrollably…or our little joke between us ,” you know!”
Sullivan asks about you all the time, when your coming home? When he can see you? He prays for you every night for the Lord to wake you up as I am sure everyone is. We have had family birthdays and holidays and trust me, they have been hard. It is hard not to go to your house for all these events when they were always there. My Nina misses you so much and she is there all the time by your side as well as the kids…I guess we get tested when we say,” where ever you go I will go, and wherever you lodge I will lodge.” Well she has been sticking with you by your side and what a wonderful thing for you to know. I love you Nino and keep fighting so Lord willing one day soon, you can come back to us !!!
Dear Cameron Family, You are in my prayers daily i miss you all very much stay strong in this trial and come back soon. i love you guys. 32For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a rock, save our God? 2 Sam 32-37
32For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a rock, save our God?
33God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.
34He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet: and setteth me upon my high places.
35He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
36Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great.
37Thou hast enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet did not slip.
Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering
God is faithful, may you continue to keep your eyes on him..
Praying for you and your family
All our love and prayers
The Outworking of Love 1 JOHN 3:16-23
16 By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 17 But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?
18 My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. 19 And by this we know[d] that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him. 20 For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. 21 Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. 22 And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. 23 And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us[e] commandment. Joan, please let us know if you need anything!(Jose, Alan, Victor) we love you guys so much and are in our prayers continually.
Hi Pastor Steve

Daily Devotional from Love Worth Finding Ministries
JUNE 9
BIBLE MEDITATION:
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to His abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
1 Peter 1:3
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
Abundant life is God’s plan for you. In fact, it’s God’s plan for all of us as Christians. The Lord Jesus Christ promised us, “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” (John 10:10). Now, what is abundant life? It is life where all of your needs are met.But more than that, abundant life is where you have enough to bless others. Not only do you receive a blessing but you are a blessing. The abundant life that Jesus promised is not just life out yonder in the sweet by and by. It is abundant life right now in the nasty now and now. Every day in every way we are to be having victory in and through the Lord Jesus Christ.
ACTION POINT:
Who in your life is not experiencing the abundant life? Your mother? Your husband? Your best friend? Take time out today to encourage them with this promise in 1 Peter.
What a great joy and blessing to share some moments with u sister joan at the retreat..GOD IS GOOD! It just amazes me how your beautiful spirit just shines trough it all god shines in you..I LOVE YOU…Our prayer are with pastor steve give him a big hug from dominic and i .

Hey joan
wanted to let you know that i miss you and pastor steve. when u coming back? love u both and still praying for u, ur family, and pastor steve. charlene
Hi, I send you all my love and care. I am continually praying for Steve and you all, Paul
It was so great to see you at the retreat, Joanie! I was so blessed………the minute I saw you there worshiping with your hands raised high, I thought, GOD’S SO GOOD! God is still on the throne, and God is still holding Steve and your whole family in the palm of His hand. Thank you for blessing all of us. Please whisper in Steve’s ear how we all love and miss him. We’re still praying and asking for a miracle……….but we trust in our great God who makes all things beautiful in His time. Love you.
God Is In Control
–from the messages of Adrian Rogers
BIBLE MEDITATION:
Isaiah 41:13 “For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.”
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
Once I had the rare opportunity of visiting with Corrie Ten Boom. I drank in her words. I listened and kept my mouth shut. One of her statements went straight to my heart: “There is no panic in heaven, only plans.” That is how God operates — no panic. Did you know the Holy Trinity never meets in an emergency session? God has never stepped down from His throne. Jesus has not left His right hand, and the Holy Spirit has not stopped interceding for you, His child. Refuse to listen to Satan’s lies of fear, discouragement, and despair. You are a victor. And God is in control!
ACTION POINT:
Repeat the following throughout the day today, “God is in control of my life. He will not leave me. His right hand will sustain me all the length of my days.”
Pastor Steve and Joan,
I was so saddened to hear of this terrible trial that you are faced with. I do believe that our God is a God of Miracles and I pray for a miracle. May the Lord reach down from heaven, touch Pastor Steve with his healing hands, and make him whole once again. May the Holy Spirit fall upon Joan and give her comfort, peace, and the confidence knowing that God is in control and will work things for His glory. May God comfort all of the Calderon family with His love, give them strength to endure this difficult trial. This is my continued prayer for you, in Christ.
Love,
Becky Vallejo
Pastor Steve, I wish i could put my arm around you and wish you a Happy Fathers Day.
Hey Nino,
I just wanted to wish you and my nina a HAPPY ANNIVERSARY !!! I pray the LORD would give you many more years to come….and happy fathers day also…. keep fighting Nino…we miss you
Love you ….. Lisa
okay Nino…
so it has been 6 months today….1/2 a year has gone by and you probably don’t even know it…..we miss you so much and we are still praying for God to continue to do a work in your life….we need a miracle….the family misses you so much as well as the girls and Nina….so much has happened in our family and I miss talking to you and playing our jokes on one another…I keep finding old pictures from like years ago of the family and it breaks my heart..I just don’t know why God is taking so long or what He is doing, but we are trusting HIM everyday for we know your life is in HIS hands…. KEEP FIGHTING NINO…NEVER GIVE UP!!!
Hello my brother. Just wanted to let you know that I love you and am still praying for you and your family. God is alwyas on time and we will rejoice when he brings his miracle to fruition. Still hear your soft voice saying to me from years past “Hey bro”. Now is the time to hear God’s soft voice saying to us all
“My grace is sufficient for thee my strength is made perfect in weakness”
No One Knows Your Needs Better
–from the messages of Adrian Rogers
BIBLE MEDITATION:
Matthew 6:32 – “… for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things.”
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
St. Augustine once said that we were created with a “God-shaped” void. I agree. Only God can meet the deepest longings of our hearts. There is nothing that can satisfy apart from your relationship with Him, but it’s not because He is a heavy-handed dictator forcing you to accept life the way He dishes it out! Who knows what will satisfy your deepest needs better than the One who made you? As your Creator, He can see what your needs are going to be tomorrow and ten years from tomorrow. Don’t you think He knows what you need today?
ACTION POINT:
What do you need today? Notice I’m not asking, “What do you want?” but “What do you need?” Does your Father know what that is? Then trust that He will provide
Working All Things Together and Toward His Return
–from the messages of Adrian Rogers
BIBLE MEDITATION:
Philippians 1:6 – “Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
God has not promised you smooth sailing, but He has promised you a safe landing. He has a purpose in allowing every circumstance into your life. You can bank on this: He’ll see you to the shore in every storm of life. Andrew Murray said, “God is willing to assume full responsibility for the life totally yielded to Him.” One of these days your destiny will be fulfilled. And soon and very soon, He is going to step down from the mountain of His glory, and the trumpet will sound. Our little ship will leave the sea of time and immediately we’ll be on the shores of eternity. When He comes, He’s coming for you! He’s coming for me!
ACTION POINT:
1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 tells us to comfort one another with the words of Christ’s return. Do you have a friend who is troubled today? Comfort him or her with this hope.
OUR GOD WHOM WE SERVE IS ABLE TO DELIVER…
I MISS YOU SO MUCH! I WANT TO TALK TO YOU SO BAD! I LOVE YOU !!!
PASTOR STEVE – I’LL SEE YOU SOON
JUST A SHORT NOTE TO MY FAMILY PLEASE KNOW THAT YOU ARE ALL LOVED AND THAT YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTON,WE THINK AND PRAY FOR ALL OF YOU EVERYDAY.MAY THE LORD BLESS US WE LOVE AND MISS YOU ALL VERY MUCH…………CHAS AND KIMBERLY
Burdens and Trials a Necessity?
–from the messages of Adrian Rogers
BIBLE MEDITATION:
James 1:3 – “Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.”
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
A man had a grandfather clock. One day he felt sorry for the grandfather clock because it had a weight on it, and that weight was always pulling on the clock. The man said, “Oh, Mr. Clock, you’ve held this weight so long; I’m going to remove it and let you rest.” The clock protested, saying, “Don’t take that weight from me. That’s what keeps me going.” In the same way, the trials and tests of life are there for your endurance. They’re to keep you going, keep you trusting, keep you praying, and keep you depending upon God.
ACTION POINT:
When was the last time you shared with someone that they need to be thankful for their trials? When was the last time you told yourself that?
PASTOR STEVE:
HOPE I GOT THE RIGHT “LISA”

Is Anything Too Hard for the Lord?
–from the messages of Adrian Rogers
BIBLE MEDITATION:
Genesis 18:14 – “Is anything too hard for the Lord?”
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
A little boy was trying to roll a rock as his father watched from a distance. The boy was heaving and sighing, but he couldn’t turn the stone over. His dad with a smile said, “Son, are you using all of your strength?” He said, “Yes, Daddy, I’m using all my strength.” And the father said, “No, you’re not because you haven’t asked me to help you. My strength is your strength.” Sometimes we wrestle with problems and say, “I don’t know what to do.” Our Father wants us to say, “I’ve run out of my strength,” and run into His. He is there. There is no problem too big for Jesus to solve. Do you believe that? I hope so.
ACTION POINT:
Is there a problem too big for you to solve? Give it to Jesus. He can handle it.
Joannie,
Been thinking about you and your family..I know God is in control and we need to wait upon Him always always!! You are a wonderful wife to stand by your husband’s side.. God does hear your prayers and desires for him to be healed in His timing..patience is a virtue!
Just know that you have many, many prayer warrriors praying for you and your family. We love you and pray for you always!! Dan & Pam
Father…Once again, we come to You and offer to You our sacrifice of praise. We know You are near in spite of what takes place. In spite of how we feel. In spite of how things may look now Your word declares Your nearness to us. You are our strength in time of need. You are our shield. You are our Strong Tower. You are present and there is nothing too hard for You. We Thank You for Your faithfulness and goodness to us. You are our Good Shepherd that leads us to the still waters in the midst of the dessert and quench our thirst. To green pastures and provide our needs…You are faithful…increase our faith God. Accomplish Your perfect will….accomplish great and mighty acts through it all….when we doubt…bring us to Your cross that we may remember we can rest in You…Allow Your beloved Camerons to completely rest and trust in You. May Your perfect peace be upon Steve and the family…speak to Steve in the place only You can speak. May You be glorified in all things. You have demonstrated Your love to us….may we be faithful to do the same…In Your name we pray…Amen.
PASTOR STEVE:
WOW YOU AND OUR LORD MUST BE HAVING ” A GREAT CONVERSATION” YOU KNOW TO OUR LORD “DAYS ARE LIKE SECONDS” SO TILL I CAN GIVE YOU A HUG AND A HAND SHAKE AT CORNERSTONE MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY…MUCH LOVE AND RESPECT TO YOU….. YOUR BROTHER IN THE LORD CHRIST “JESUS” JAMES “BIGBOY” MARTINEZ.
Cameron Family,
May our Lord continue to speak words of comfort and peace who knows all things. He is beyond comprehension and understands our frailties and weaknesses. His ways and thoughts are not our ways and thoughts. We can rely on His words of comfort during our most difficult times and know “He will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever, For in Yah, the Lord, is the Rock of Ages”. Praying that our Lord will continue to speak to you through His word. Love, in Christ, Ernest and Gloria Ramirez
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us… Romans 8:18
Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God…Acts 14:22
Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all his righteousness; and all these things will be added unto you…Matthew 6:33
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believe in him should not perish, but have everlasting life…John 3:16
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins…1 John 4:10
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me…Phill 4:13
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved…Romans 10:13
My dearest Cameron family, God’s entire Word is a source of strength for all the trials we will go through in this life. We must remember that this life is only temporal, and that we must keep focused on the eternal. His promises are true. The enemy is hard at work yielding his tools of discouragement among the brethren. We all go through various trials, mine not compared to yours and yours not compared to mine. The enemy wants us to take our eyes off the promises of God and put them upon our circumstances with his sole desire to devour us and break our fellowship with our creator. We must stay strong! Please pray for my family as the attacks are coming upon us. If we all pray for one another certainly the devil will lose ground and God’s victory and blessings will pour down upon us more than before. We shall rejoice forevermore!
JUST WANTED TO SAY HELLO PASTOR “STEVE” I KNOW SOMEDAY YOUR GOING TO READ ALL YOUR PRAYERS FROM ALL THE “BROTHERS AND SISTERS” THAT LOVE YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. SO TILL THEN MY PRAYERS AND LOVE ARE WITH YOU

The Blessed Hope of His Glorious Appearing
–from the messages of Adrian Rogers
BIBLE MEDITATION:
Titus 2:13 – “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ.”
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
Whenever I walk the shores of the Sea of Galilee, I long to see Jesus walking there. I would have loved to have seen Him walk on the water — planting His footsteps on the sea with the wind in His hair and His garments flowing. I think I’d be a better preacher had I seen Him dying in agony and blood, and to have experienced that Easter morning. Wouldn’t it have been wonderful to see Him ascend into the glory! Although we didn’t see Him any of those times, we are going to see Him! There’s a blessed hope awaiting us as God’s children. When He returns, He’s not coming as the carpenter; He’s coming as the conqueror!
ACTION POINT:
Thank God for this Good News right now. And ask Him to bring you someone today with whom you can share this particularly Good News of Christ’s return!
PRAISE GOD!! Our prayers for you and your family are continuously on our lips!!
God Bless, The Quezadas
WOW, PASTOR STEVE!!! It’s wonderful news to hear that your breathing is continuing to be strong!! Not as if you need to be taught, be we all want to encourage you by way of reminding you that breathing is praying just as eating is as receiving the Word… KEEP BREATHING STRONG PASTOR STEVE!!
“This is the air I breathe… This is the air I breathe… Your Holy Presence… Living in me.
This is my daily bread… This is my daily bread… Your very Word… Spoken to me.”
Not only that, but you’re opening your eyes…. or should I say that the LORD has given you strength and power to open your eyes!! (*L*) As Pastor Chuck would say, “GLORRRIOUS!!”
“Open my eyes__ that I may see Your wonder; Open my eyes__ to the wonders of Your Word.
Teach me__ Lord, Your ways__ I’ll obey them to the end__
Grant me__ to keep Your law__ With my whole heart I will follow them.
Open my eyes__ that I may see Your wonder; Open my eyes__ to the wonders of Your Word.
Turn me__ from vain things__ Revive me in Your way__
Firmly__ plant Your Word__ In Your servant all my days__ oh Lord.”
Pastor Steve, please know that prayers from across the nation, around the world, and before the very throne of our Father are being offered to God for you because you are greatly loved by us all!!
By the way, just this past Sunday I was visiting Calvary Golden Srings, wandered into the bookstore after the service & noticed a tall young man that looked rather familiar (although I haven’t seen him in several years)… actually, his face hasn’t changed all that much & I was blessed to see young Steven there!! When he recognised who I was, he approached me with the same embrace & approach of love as you…. and I couldn’t help but hug him several times over!! Steven shared that he plans to attend the Bible School there at Golden Springs and you have great reason to be proud of what the Lord is doing in his life Pastor Steve!! ….so rejoice, be encouraged and strengthened in the Lord Pastor Steve!!
We look forward to praying AND singing praises WITH YOU once again!! WE LOVE YOU!!
The Chief Tool of the Devil
–from the messages of Adrian Rogers
BIBLE MEDITATION:
Psalm 25:15 – “Mine eyes are ever toward the Lord…”
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
There’s a story about the devil auctioning off his tools. He had a high price on pride, laziness, arrogance, hate, envy, and jealousy. But there was one tool that had a sign under it, “Not For Sale.” Someone said, “What is that tool, and why isn’t it for sale?” “Well,” he said, “I can’t afford to get rid of that one. It’s my chief tool, discouragement. With this tool, I can pry open a heart and once I get in I can do most anything I want.” Do you want me to tell you why you get discouraged? I’ll give it to you in a nutshell you’ve taken your eyes off God!
ACTION POINT:
Are you discouraged? If not, praise God! And find someone who is so that you can give them the encouragement they need in Jesus Christ. Maybe it’s your next-door neighbor. Maybe it’s a co-worker. Maybe it’s your spouse
JUST ME AGAIN PASTOR:
IM BACK AT “CORNERSTONE” I HAVE BEEN GOING TO THE MONDAY MENS STUDY, AND ITS BEEN A BLESSING TO ME. WE ALL PRAY FOR YOU…TILL WE SEE YOU AT CHURCH, IN GOOD HEALTH, AND WITH YOUR “BIG SMILE” YOUR BROTHER IN THE LORD.. “JAMES”
Dear Cameron Family,
I come to you to confess my sin of laziness and forgetfulness. I can find my self getting cought up in life’s demands that I’ll put off praying for the saints. I bring this up because 1) the scripture tells us to confess our faults w/ one another and 2) pastor steve has been a guide in my life as a christian man…I am amazed at the amount of strength that is displayed everyday. Thank you for being an example to me and everyone else that you guys have touched and inspired. I end this night in prayer for all of you. My God richly bless you.
Joanie,
you come to mind when I think of a godly woman, because you have all the qualities of the person I want to be each day! I miss you and Pastor Steve and your inspiring words of wisdom…We will pray continuously for a miracle..Love to you and yours, Dan & Pam

The Whole World in His Hands
–from the messages of Adrian Rogers
BIBLE MEDITATION:
Colossians 1:17 – “And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.”
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
We sing about the Lord having the whole world in His hands. But do you know what is more remarkable than that? He has the whole universe in His hands. He’s the One who spoke it into existence. He’s the One who keeps it going. He’s the One who is going to fold it up like a garment and tuck it away in a drawer somewhere. He regulates it; He rules it, and He runs it. When you pick up the newspaper and read something alarming, you don’t need to panic. That just says “Praise God, I told you so!” God is in control! He Who flung the stars in space has the whole universe in His hands!
ACTION POINT:
Take the hand of a child today and look at the stars twinkling in the night or a leaf changing color, then share about the awesome Creator and Sustainer of all.

Born to Win
–from the messages of Adrian Rogers
BIBLE MEDITATION:
1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.”
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
When you were born again, you were born to win! Your new birth in Jesus Christ has fitted you for victory. You can detect Satan’s sch
